 Jockey Shailesh Shinde, the rider of MYTHOS, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for excessive use of the whip on his mount (1st Offence).
Regal Bearing
 REGAL BEARING (D K Ashish) and SUGAR ‘N’ SALT (Md. Islam) were fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race. In view of their behavior Trs. Shafiq Khan and Javed Khan were advised not to accept with their charges until passed fit by the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.Approaching the 900 metres REGAL BEARING (D K Ashish) attempting to make progress between SEACHANGE (Vinay Jaiswal) and MYTHOS (Shailesh Shinde) was eased back by its rider when squeezed for room.
Ijlal
 Jockey Sk Zaffar Riaz, the rider of IJLAL, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for the indifferent handling of his mount in that he negotiated the final bend wide for no apparent reason and for failing to infuse adequate vigour to his riding in the final 300 metres of the race. Tr. Javed Khan was informed that his charges should be run and ridden in such a manner that leaves no room for query.
The Gordian Knot
 THE GORDIAN KNOT (Pradeep Kumar) jumped awkwardly from the gate losing approximately two lengths at the start and thereafter ran an erratic course in the initial 100 metres of the race. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with his charge again.

Amazing Speed
 Ms. Arti Doctor, the trainer of b f AMAZING SPEED, when afforded an opportunity to explain the poor performance of her charge, stated that the filly did not relish the extended trip and appeared to be more capable of performing better over a shorter distance. The Stipendiary Stewards noted her explanation.

Gentle Jewel
 Soon after the start GENTLE JEWEL (App Md. Azharuddin) was bumped by LITTLE JADEN (Surjeet Singh) which shifted ‘inwards’. The Veterinary Officer reported that GENTLE JEWEL returned lame on left hind. Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
Fascinating
 FASCINATING (Pradeep Kumar) stood flat footed as the start was effected and thereafter ran an erratic course in initial 100 metres of the race. In view of its behavior, Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.
Little Jaden
 Approaching the distance post LITTLE JADEN (Surjeet Singh) shifted ‘out’ and inconvenienced GENTLE JEWEL (App Md Azharuddin) and HARSHIL (Afzal Hossain). Jockey Surjeet Singh was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for shifting ground when not sufficiently clear of the other runner.
Emerald Queen
 Passing the distance post EMERALD QUEEN (App J K Prasad) drifted ‘outwards’ under pressure. Tr. D Karki was advised to take appropriate corrective measures.

4 (108) THE SUBIANCA HANDICAP
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45 - (3 year old maidens only)

Haynestown
 HAYNESTOWN (App Arman Khan) and APICAL LIGHT (Afzal Khan) were fractious in their respective stalls.
Isle Of Capri
 Approaching the 900 metres ISLE OF CAPRI (D K Ashish) was checked by its jockey and lost some ground when tightened for room by HAYNESTOWN (App Arman Khan) which shifted ‘inwards’. At a subsequent enquiry App Arman Khan was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for coming in sharply and causing interference to ISLE OF CAPRI (D K Ashish).
March Of Time
 MARCH OF TIME (Afzal Hossain) trailed the field home. The gelding was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding returned lame on its left fore. Tr. R W Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
Apical Light
 APICAL LIGHT (Afzal Khan) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start..

5 (109) THE RELIABLE CUP

Whistling Strait
 WHISTLING STRAIT (App Ajoy Roy) was fractious while being stalled.Approaching the 800 metres marker WHISTLING STRAIT (App Ajoy Roy) brushed against HEER SALETI (Mohit Singh) momentarily inconveniencing the latter.App Ajoy Roy, the rider of WHISTLING STRAIT, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for excessive use of the whip on his mount (1st offence).
Heer Saleti
 Approaching the 400 metres marker HEER SALETI attempting to make progress along the rails was checked by its rider when running into the heels of KINSHASA (App Arman Khan) which momentarily shifted ‘inwards’ while negotiating the bend. As the incident was accidental, no further action was taken beyond cautioning Jockey Mohit Singh for attempting to force a passage when there was no adequate room and cautioned App Arman Khan to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.The Veterinary Officer reported that HEER SALETI (Mohit Singh) returned with cut injury on its right fore.

6 (110) THE SWEET ELLAR HANDICAP

Star Impact
 STAR IMPACT (D K Ashish) was observed to run an erratic course in the final 400 metres of the race. Tr. Bath was advised to take appropriate corrective measures.The Veterinary Officer reported that STAR IMPACT returned with cut injury on its left hind.
Royal Dance
 ROYAL DANCE (Md. Islam) jumped awkwardly from the gates.
Whispering Hills
 App Zarar Alam reported that the saddle used on WHISPERING HILLS shifted back on entering the straight, as such, he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage. Tr. Patrick Quinn was fined a sum of Rs. 500/ for faulty saddling.
Blazing Spectacle
 App Arman Khan the rider BLAZING SPECTACLE, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for excessive use of the whip on his mount (1st offence).
Imperial Delight
 IMPERIAL DELIGHT (C Alford) was fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the colt was permitted to be withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate of the colt has been revoked by the Starter.

7 (111) THE MOUNTAIN LILY HANDICAP

Saddlers Pride
 SADDLERS PRIDE (B Gurang) stood flat footed as the start was effected thereby losing considerable ground at the start. Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
Songwriter
 Ajoy Roy, the rider of SONGSTRESS, reported loss of whip approaching the 400 metres.
Bold Desire
 The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey D K Ashish and trainer Mr. R W Alford to the Stewards for the unsatisfactory riding and running of b g BOLD DESIRE under Rule 161(ii) and 159 ( c ) in that during the early stages of the race the jockey made no attempt to place his mount in a position of contention and when approaching the 800 metres he made progress on the wide outside of the field for no apparent reason. Further on entering the straight he showed no urgency to bring his mount in the line of contention and in the concluding stages of the race he failed to infuse adequate vigour to his riding. At the conclusion of the Stewards enquiry, the Stewards decided to fine Jockey D K Ashish a sum of Rs. 25,000/ for his unsatisfactory riding on his mount BOLD DESIRE. The jockey was informed of his right to appeal.With respect to Tr. R W Alford, the Stewards not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by him specially with reference to his instructions to Jockey D K Ashish, fined him a sum of Rs. 25,000/ for the unsatisfactory running of his charge BOLD DESIRE and informed him that the running of his charges in future would be closely monitored. The trainer was informed of his right to appeal.
