 LE CORBUSIER (Hindu Singh) finished the race detached from the field. Jockey Hindu Singh when questioned as to the running of his mount stated that the gelding was travelling well till the five furlong marker and thereafter failed to respond to his repeated urgings. Tr. Vijay Singh was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and report ailment, if any, and not to accept with the gelding until it was capable of a better performance.

 FENICIA (App Sujit Kr Paswan) was slow to begin.

 b g PORAS was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s orders. Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. The Stipendiary Stewards are enquiring into the late withdrawal of b g PORAS.

Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Javed Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
