 XILE (Imran Chisty) was brought to a halt soon after passing the winning post. On immediate examination the filly was found to have bled from its nostrils. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

 Mr. Shafiq Khan, the trainer of b g BANG BANG ridden by Jockey Nikhil Naidu, reported that he was not satisfied with the handling of his charge during the race by the Jockey as he had instructed Jockey Nikhil Naidu to place his mount in 3rd/4th position in the early and middle stages of the race and that he was disappointed that his charge had been allowed to gallop at the head of the field some distance after the start. The Stipendiary Stewards based on their observation of the race and the explanation of the Jockey that the gelding had bolted some distance after the start in spite of his best efforts to restrain his mount, decided to take no further action.

 An objection was lodged by Jockey Dhanu S Deora, the rider of BRAINSTORM placed 3rd by the Judge against Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of LESREL placed 1st, on the grounds of ?he came in sharply at 150 metres causing me to check my mount and stumble badly which cost me a certain race?. The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys Dhanu S Deora and Hindu Singh, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards decided to up hold the objection and to revise the Judge?s placings as under Thereafter the ?All Clear? signal was ordered to be hoisted. BRAINSTORM 2nd An enquiry has been opened into the incident of interference received by BRAINSTORM (Dhanu S Deora) in the final stages of the race.

 The Veterinary Officer reported that CASTLEBRIDGE returned without its left fore shoe.

 b f SORBONNE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter?s orders. Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
