Prasad Raju that his instructions were to settle his mount in 4th or 5th position which he was able to carry out until the final straight from where the filly did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju whilst confirming the above stated that the extra 200 metres to travel today as compared to the filly’s earlier start had been to her disadvantage also submitted that his charge is a very ingenuine performer, noted for future reference.

PaymasterJockey Imran Chisty (PAYMASTER) cautioned for shifting out at about the 300 metres taking the ground of SMARTY PRINCE (N. RAWAL).
Indian StormTrainer S. Habeebullah was cautioned for failing to exercise sufficient care in the saddling of his charge INDIAN STORM (M.F. ALI KHAN) whose saddle slipped during the race. Explanation of Trainer S.S.F. Hassan regarding the inconsistent running of his charge INDIA GATE (M. MARK) that his charge had gone up in handicap and also 200 metres extra to travel today was not to his charge’s liking and the gelding failed to raise a winning gallop in the crucial stages of the race as compared to his previous start, noted. However, Trainer S.S.F. Hassan was cautioned for the inconsistent running of his charge.

Fire BenderThe Stewards suspended Jockey M MARK (FIRE BENDER) from riding in races with effect from 11th to 15th February, 2010 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he had not made sufficient efforts to prevent his mount from shifting out soon after the start crowding the runners drawn on his outside resulting in severe interference to TOP SHAPE (R.B. SHINDE), COOL BROTHER (K. ANIL), RADICAL PLAYER (A. IMRAN KHAN) and EMERALD BAY (HARISH)..

Retro MagicRETRO MAGIC (APP. R. UMESH) clipped the heels of HOSPITALITY (A. RAMANA) at about the 1000 metres resulting in the latter to stop galloping and subsequently Jockey A Ramana dismounted from HOSPITALITY at about the 400 metres. Subsequentl veterinary examination revealed that the mare was trotting lame on left hind probably due to fracture proximal sesamoids and also sustained a clipped injury over left hind cannon.
Emerald BayEMERALD BAY (HARISH) returned lame after the race.

Sreekant (QUEENS FORTUNE) cautioned for shifting in 100 metres after the start taking the ground of LALACZAR (A RAMANA). Explanation of Trainer Laxman Singh regarding the poor performance of his charge LALACZAR (A. RAMANA) as compared to his previous starts that his charge had gone up in handicap and was running with a better class of horses wherein the Jockey had not been able to position up with the field at any stage of the race inspite of his best efforts and was therefore forced to travel at the tail end of the field, noted. He was however cautioned to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.

Silver LinerSILVER LINER (RAVINDER SINGH) and THE HIMALAYAS (R. PARMOD) ran green throughout the race. Respective trainers were advised to take remedial measures before next accepting with them in a race.
Basin ReserveBASIN RESERVE (DEEP SHANKER) was tightened at about the 400 metres due to SILVER LINER (RAVINDER SINGH) shifting in.
