ViareggioAn objection was lodged by Jockey Hindu Singh, tie rider of VIAREGGIO placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey Md Islam, the rider of JEZZABELLE placed 1st, on the grounds of “first 100 metres he came on to me so sharply, I narrowly escaped from clipping its heels which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys Hindu Singh and Md. Islam, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards decided to over rule the objection. The “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted. The objection fee of Rs. 2,500/ deposited by Jockey Hindu Singh was forfeited.
CaidenThe Stipendiary Stewards not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by the Trainer and Jockey, decided to fine Mr. Jasbir Singh and Mr. Mohit Singh a sum of Rs. 15,000/ each for the unsatisfactory running and riding of ch g CAIDEN in that after taking a very good start which placed the gelding in a advantageous forward position, the rider for some inexplicable reason then placed his mount in a disadvantageous position by restraining it from improving with the rest of the field and on entering the straight when placed along the rails he failed to immediately capitalize on the clear run available to him at that time.
