Wave RiderWAVE RIDER (Akshay Kumar) was examined at the Starting gates and was observed to be trotting lame on left hind, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.

Explanation of Jockey G. Naresh (NOBLE PROFESSION) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer Sk. Kassam, deputizing for Trainer K.V. Srinivas was advised for a better performance in future.
