Hibiki	HIBIKI (A Ashhad Asbar) was fractious while being stalled.
Novikov	Jockey B Mahesh, the rider of NOVIKOV, was reprimanded for allowing his mount to run an erratic course in the final 400 metres of the race when he placed the filly under pressure with the use of the whip. Further, the Jockey was advised that in future he must make every effort to maintain a straight course failing which; he would be reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
Alamire	ALAMIRE (Hindu Singh), SHAFER (Md Azharuddin) and KAARTIKEN (App Rupal Singh) were slow to begin.
Royal Concert	ROYAL CONCERT (Md Islam) was fractious in its stall.

Dark Angel	DARK ANGEL (Hindu Singh) arrived late to the start. Tr. Raunak Banerji was advised to ensure that his charge arrives on time in future.
Melissa	MELISSA (Dashrath Singh) and GRAND FOREST (P S Chouhan) were slow to begin. During the final 400 metres of the race MELISSA (Dashrath Singh) was inconvenienced when DAKOTA DREAMER (B Mahesh) shifted ‘inwards’ under pressure.
Grand Forest	The Veterinary Officer reported that GRAND FOREST returned lame on left fore. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Curtis	CURTIS (A Ashhad Asbar) was fractious in its stall.

Cocoanut

COCOANUT (Hindu Singh) was slow to begin. Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of COCOANUT, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).

So Regal	dk b g SO REGAL, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of 2nd February, 2018 and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Red Bug	Jockey Russell Xaviers, the rider of RED BUG, reported loss of whip passing the distance post.
Words	The Veterinary Officer reported that WORDS returned lame on left fore. Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Dancing Prince

DANCING PRINCE (P S Chouhan) was fractious in its stall and thereafter during the final stages of the race while making progress in the middle of the course was momentarily hampered when WIMBLEDON (Md Azharuddin) shifted ‘outwards’. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Md Azharuddin was shown the CCTV replay of the race and was fined Rs. 1,500/ for shifting ground for no apparent reason.

Advika	Jockey S John, the rider of ADVIKA, reported that some distance after the start when he attempted to restrain the filly from racing too freely, the saddle on his mount shifted forward over the withers as such he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage for the remaining stages of the race. The Stipendiary Stewards relying on their observations and after viewing the CCTV replay of the race were satisfied with the statements expressed by the Jockey. Tr. Vijay Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/ for the faulty saddling of his charge ADVIKA.
Houtzen	HOUTZEN (C Alford), ALYSSA (Dashrath Singh) and BEATRIX (Mohit Singh) were fractious while being stalled.
Havana Grey	HAVANA GREY (Ranidan Singh) was fractious in its stall.

Aunty's Boy	DARK GOLD (A Ashhad Asbar) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to ensure that his charge arrives on time in future.
Stellanova	Jockey C Alford, the rider of STELLANOVA, reported loss of whip passing the 200 metres.
Flying Cloud	FLYING CLOUD (S Zervaan) was slow to begin losing considerable ground at the start. Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was advised not to accept with her charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
Surgical Strike	SURGICAL STRIKE (App Nikhil Naidu) was slow to begin.
Mizuno	MIZUNO (App P Vikram) was fractious while being stalled.
