Explanation of Jockey Arshad Alam (PENUMATCHA`S PRIDE) in the presence of Trainer R.H. Sequeira that his instructions were not to go front but sit close 3rd or 4th and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was trotting lame on right fore due to shoulder sprain.

Agusta Bombshell

AGUSTA BOMBSHELL (Kiran Naidu) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths and thereafter the gelding trailed the field finishing the course distance behind.

Mighty Swing	App. C.P. Bopanna (MIGHTY SWING) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field.

As this confirmed out observation, the Jockeys explanation was noted.
Enter Canter	App. Gopal Singh (ENTER CANTER) was fined Rs. 2000/ for shifting in 50 mtrs after the start in the process crowding the runners racing on his inside, resulting in interference to SIR LEGEND (P. Ajeeth Kumar) and GREEN OLIVE (Kiran Naidu).
Captain General	CAPTAIN GENERAL (S. Sreekant) jumped out awkwardly losing about 2 or 3 lengths.
Steyn Memories	STEYN MEMORIES (N. Rawal) sustained cut injury over right hind distal third inside cannon. However, the gelding was trotting sound.
Seeking Alpha (O)	SEEKING ALPHA (Khurshad Alam) trailed the field throughout the race.

Hassan was fined Rs. 5,000/ for inconsistent running of his charge KHAN SAHIB (Deep Shanker) the winner of this race, who finished off board in all her previous runs and further the Trainer was cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
War Cry	WAR CRY (App. Deepak Singh) returned bleeding from both the nostrils.
Ice Crystal	ICE CRYSTAL (App. C.P. Bopanna) and PAMELLA (Khurshad Alam) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 length each.
Monte Rosa	MONTE ROSA (S. Sreekant) trailed the field throughout the race.

Military Belle	App. B.R. Kumar (MILITARY BELLE) was fined Rs. 2000/ for shifting in 100 mtrs after the start in the process causing interference to ALTRUIST (Arshad Alam) who was racing on the rails. MILITARY BELLE (App. B.R. Kumar) returned bleeding from the right nostril after the race.

Sequeira that his instructions were to sit close 3rd or 4th and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the mare did not raise a winning gallop inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer and was noted for future reference. Jockey Arshad Alam (AZARENKA) was fined Rs.3000/ for excessive and improper use of whip.
