STAGGER (App Prathvi Singh) was difficult to load. App Prathvi Singh (STAGGER) was observed to have eased up his mount out of the field passing the 1000 metres and not make sufficient effort to improve position till passing the 300 metres. Master trainer Mr. Javed Khan was advised to ensure that his apprentice rides his mounts more judiciously in future. The Veterinary Officer reported that STAGGER returned lame on left fore. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Spring Valley	CARAVELLE (P S Chouhan) and SPRING VALLEY (App Sujit Kr. Paswan) were re saddled at the start.
Romantic Zeal	Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of CHIARA, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for shifting ground to the outside passing the 300 metres bumping into ROMANTIC ZEAL (R S Bhati) making his move on his outside.

Caravelle	CARAVELLE (P S Chouhan) and SPRING VALLEY (App Sujit Kr. Paswan) were re saddled at the start. Jockey P S Chouhan, the rider of ch f CARAVELLE, reported that his mount was not striding out fluently throughout the race in spite of his best efforts, as such he eased her up passing the 300 metres. Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was advised to get her charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and not to accept with the filly until it was capable of a better performance.

Cliffhanger	Passing the 1200 metres PINATUBO (App Rupal Singh) clipped the false rails upright when the apprentice tried to squeeze through on the inside of GHOST (Hindu Singh), unbalancing the colt with the rider losing his left stirrup iron. The Apprentice was able to regain the same approaching the 900 metres but not before inconveniencing CLIFFHANGER (Suraj Narredu) on his outside. The Apprentice was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.

Viareggio	VIAREGGIO (App Rupal Singh) drifted `outwards` during the final stages of the race in spite of the Apprentice`s best efforts. Tr. Raunak Banerji was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
Communique	Jockey P S Chouhan, the rider of COMMUNIQUE, reported that he had to ease back his mount at about 1100 metres in a closely packed field and the gelding finished on in the straight, was noted.
Around The World	Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of AROUND THE WORLD, reported that his mount did not have much to offer during the final stages of the race when placed under pressure.
Bunting	b m BUNTING (App P Tejeshwar) finished the race detached from the field.

5	(90)	THE SECRET FIRE HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses rated 61 TO 86	1200M
			3:15 PM

Air Command	AIR COMMAND (App Rupal Singh) which was fractious while being paraded in the paddock and was reluctant to go to the start, was playing up violently behind the starting gates during the loading operations and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter`s orders. After the conclusion of the race the starting gate personnel reported that AIR COMMAND continued to be extremely fractious while awaiting to be escorted to the stables, rearing up and flipping over. The Veterinary Officer was rushed to the spot and the gelding was found to have sustained severe concussion injury on left hindquarter and spinal cord. The gelding also had suspected subluxation of sacroiliac joint with suspected left femur fracture involving left stifle joint. Since the gelding was unable to bear its weight on the affected left hind and was in severe pain and agony, it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds after consulting Trainer Mr. Jasbir Singh who was present at the spot and with the permission of the Stewards.
Shimmering Star	SHIMMERING STAR (P S Chouhan) flying jumped out of the gates momentarily unbalancing the rider.
Vallerysthal	VALLERYSTHAL (Suraj Narredu) was slow to begin losing approximately 3 4 lengths at the start.
Pablo	Jockey K Sai Kiran, the rider of PABLO, reported that his mount was not trotting sound after the running of the race. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the gelding returned lame on left fore. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

6	(91)	THE ADJUDICATE CUP TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD	1400M
			3:45 PM

Prince Satsuma	PRINCE SATSUMA dislodged Jockey Suraj Narredu on its way to the start and bolted riderless for some distance. The gelding was caught and escorted riderless to the starting gates thereby delaying the proceedings of the race.
Arrowfield	NEW ENGLAND (Vinay Jaiswal) and ARROWFIELD (App Sujit Kr Paswan) were slow to begin. Following the race day, dk b g ARROWFIELD was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on right hind. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
New England	NEW ENGLAND (Vinay Jaiswal) and ARROWFIELD (App Sujit Kr Paswan) were slow to begin.
Tutankhamun	The Veterinary Officer reported that TUTANKHAMUN returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. C Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

7	(92)	THE CASCADES HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses rated 21 TO 46	1400M
			4:15 PM

Right Move	App P Vikram, the rider of RIGHT MOVE (drawn 8), was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount in that soon after the start he allowed his mount to shift `in` causing inconvenience to the runners on his inside.
Fancourt	FANCOURT (App Sujit Kr. Paswan) was slow to begin.
