Emerald Bay	EMERALD BAY (D.M. FENTIMAN) took an awkward jump towards outside losing about 1 or 2 lengths

Shen Long	Explanation of Jockey B. Shanker (SHEN LONG) that his mount was hanging in throughout the race whereby he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage, noted. Trainer S.S.F. Hassan was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

Striking Gold	STRIKING GOLD (N. RAWAL) slow out of the gates losing about a length. Jockey N. Rawal (STRIKING GOLD) cautioned to ensure that he exercised greater control over his mount in that he shifted out at about the 800 metres forcing out FIRST SPOT (APP. R. UMESH).
Basin Reserve	BASIN RESERVE (DEEP SHANKER) and YOURE THE ONE (T.G. McLAUGHLIN) trailed the field for the greater part of the race.

Chayanandan	CHAYANANDAN (DEEP SHANKER) tightened for room in the final stages of the race.
Crown Castle	Explanation of Jockey S. Shoban Babu (CROWN CASTLE) that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race in the process forced out FRIENDLY EQUATION (SK. SHAROOKH) at about the 700 metres. Trainer M. Satyanarayana was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance. Jockey S. Shoban Babu (CROWN CASTLE) was severely reprimanded for veering in onto the rail whilst traveling 7 to 8 horses wide in the final 200 metres for no apparent reason.
Mighty Power	MIGHTY POWER (RAVINDER SINGH) and GREY CLOUD (K. ANIL)slow out of the gates losing about 1 or 2 lengths each.

Canopus	Explanation of Jockey M.F. Ali Khan (CANOPUS) that his mount had at no stage of the race raised a fluent gallop inspite of his urgings, noted. Trainer Faiyaz Shaikh was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

Vijayam	VIJAYAM (STEPHEN CARSON) withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
Hussler	Jockey D. Gnaneshwar (HUSSLER) cautioned against the undesirable practice of looking back whilst making the running in the straight.
Sir Onslaught	Jockey Sk. Sharookh (SIR ONSLAUGHT) severely cautioned for traveling wide for the greater part of the race for no apparent reason.

Lone Ranger(O)	LONE RANGER (S. JOHN) reared up as the start was effected losing over 4 to 5 lengths. SSC revoked. Jockey S. John (LONE RANGER) cautioned for shifting in negotiating the final bend taking the ground of PALACE AFFAIRS (APP. R. UMESH) and ACCORDION (D.M. FENTIMAN).
Kohinoor Ruby	Jockey N. Rawal (RUBY CROWN) and App. A. Ashhad Asbar (ALBERTON STAR) reported that their respective mounts were hanging in, in the straight. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.
Chief De Mission	Change of rider permitted from Jockey Sk. Farookh to Jockey Ravinder Singh on CHIEF DE MISSION.

Vijays Famme	VIJAYS FAMME (CH K CHARY) took a fly jump losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Baywatch Babe(O)

Explanation of Jockey S. John (BAYWATCH BABE) that he was unable to follow the given instructions of positioning his mount 3rd or 4th as his mount was keen soon after the start and he found himself in front was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded to ensure that he made greater efforts to follow the given instructions in future, failing which he would be subjected to such action as deemed fit.

Royal Quest

Jockey N. Rawal (ROYAL QUEST) cautioned to be more vigorous in the initial part of the race to follow the given instructions. He was further cautioned for dropping his hands in the final stages of the race though on a beaten horse.
