Star SupremoSTAR SUPREMO (Rajendra Singh) jumped awkwardly inwards causing interference to COUNTRY’S GRACE (C.P.Khanal), further the gelding trailed the field and was asked to be examined by the Veterinary Officer who reported that no abnormalities were found. Trainer R.Foley was advised to ensure better performance of his charge before accepting with it again.

Sprit Of ZionJockey C.Umesh the rider of SPRIT OF ZION was fined a sum of Rs.3,000/ for shifting in at about 100 metres after the start causing interference to PARRYS CORNER (A.Ayaz Khan) and further for shifting in at about the 600 metres causing a check to INTOX (S.Manohar).
IntoxINTOX (S.Manohar) lost its hind action at the 800 metres passage.

3 (38) THE VELACHERY PLATE

OxygenTrainer K.S.Mandanna was permitted to saddle OXYGEN (A.Ayaz Khan) on behalf of trainer Fazal Ul Rehman at both Trainer’s risk and liability. Jockey A.Ayaz Khan the rider of OXYGEN injured his left leg while his mount was being stalled due to which he reported he would not be able to ride, under the circumstances OXYGEN was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s orders.
Smashing ApproachJockey C.Umesh the rider of SMASHING APPROACH was fined a sum of Rs.5,000/ for shifting in passing the 400 metres resulting in KINGSTON HEATH (P.K.Gaddam) stumbling possibly due to clipping the heels of the front runner, further Jockey C.Umesh was fined a sum of Rs.10,000/ for dropping his hands before passing the winning post possibly losing 2nd place.
ObsessionJockey Irshad Alam the rider of OBSESSION reported that he was not ready as the start was affected losing about 4 to 5 lengths and shifting out immediately after the start.

Yanna RascalaYANNA RASCALA (Kishore Kaddam) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds lame on right fore due to right fore superficial digital flexor tendonitis. Trainer Craig Marshall was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
AcademusJockey Nakhat Singh the rider of ACADEMUS was fined a sum of Rs.5,000/ for excessive use of whip, this being his second such offence.

5 (40) THE QUEEN OF THE HILLS PLATE

Dean's GreyDEAN’S GREY (P.K.Gaddam) bolted while being led to the starting gate, completed a round of the course and was therefore permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s orders. Trainer P.Krishna was asked to school his charge before accepting with it again.
ErinvaleERINVALE (Rohit Kumar) was slow to start losing about 2 lengths.
Benin BronzeBENIN BRONZE (S.Manohar) was slow to start losing about 2 lengths.
HaranJockey G.Naresh the rider of HARAN reported that his mount threw its head up approaching the 800 metres ATC bend and had to be checked thereafter to prevent his mount from drifting wide out lost considerable ground in the process, as the horse exhibited similar behaviour in its previous run Trainer J.Sebastian was asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before accepting with it again.
ExcellanzaJockey K.V.Baskar the rider of WELCOME AKSHARA was severely cautioned for shifting out sharply and negotiating the 800 metres ATC bend wide from an initial comfortable position 3 wide off the rails.

6 (41) THE PLANETARIUM PLATE

ChanakyaTrainer K.S.Mandanna was permitted to saddle ROMANTIC KNIGHT (G.Manikandan)on behalf of Trainer Akbar Malick at both trainer’s risk and liability. Further trainer K.S.Mandanna deputising for trainer Akbar Malick was fined a sum of Rs.2000/ for parading ROMANTIC KNIGHT with Blinkers, special equipment for which prior permission had not obtained, subsequently the Blinkers were removed before the horse left the paddock. ROMANTIC KNIGHT (G.Manikandan) stumbled passing the 800 meters passage dislodging the rider.
Be My SecretBE MY SECRET (Md.Farhan Alam) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds, tendinitis of left fore limb. Trainer G.S.Parmar was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Price StrikerApproaching the 400 meters PRICE STRIKER (C.Umesh) shied away from a patch and bumped the inner rails.
OnyxApprentice Jockey Altaf Hussain the rider of ONYX reported that his mount was inclined to hang in entering the straight till the winning post.
Hocus PocusJockey Mukesh Kumar being indisposed he was permitted to be substituted by Jockey K.V.Baskar on HOCUS POCUS.
