GleneaglesTrainer K P Singh and Jockey Sameer Khan were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of GLENEAGLES. Trainer stated he had instructed the jockey to position 5th 6th and do his best on entering the straight and win the race. Jockey Sameer Khan corroborating the trainer’s instructions stated that he had done his best and his mount was trying to travel wide inspite of his best efforts. Not being satisfied with his explanation they were directed to appear before the Stewards after the last race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer K P Singh and Jockey Sameer Khan. GLENEAGLES was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.
Ashwa SanwriJockey D Kumar the rider of ASHWA SANWRI was fined Rs.3000/ for checking his mount soon after jumping out of the starting gates and negotiating the bend permitting his mount to travel wide for no apparent reason thereby travelling on the outer portion of the race track.

Master FrankelJockey Md Habeeb the rider of MASTER FRANKEL reported that negotiating the bend and entering into the home straight his mount shifted out inspite of his best effort to keep it on an even course.
Ashwa GarimaJockey Narain Singh the rider of ASHWA GARIMA reported that as the start was effected his mount refused to jump out thereby loosing some ground at the start and thereafter it refused to raise a fluent gallop in the initial stages of the race.

Master CristianoJockey Ramandeep Singh the rider of MASTER CRISTIANO reported that the whip momentarily slipped of his hands but he gathered it immediately during the process of changing whip hand from left to right. Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal the rider of MASTER CRISTIANO was fined Rs.3000/ for the excessive use of the whip during the race (1st offence during the meeting).

TarantinoPrior to ‘ALL CLEAR’ being declared App Jockey Md Asif Khan the rider of TARANTINO requested to view the race video with a view to consider lodging an objection. After viewing the video App Jockey Md Asif Khan decided to proceed with an objection and accordingly an objection was lodged by App Jockey Md Asif Khan the rider of TARANTINO placed fourth by the Judge against Jockey M. Shahid the rider of TERRIFIC placed second by the Judge for “ coming in sharply, bumping so badly before the red marker thereby his mount got totally unbalanced. After which he crossed me due to which I had to check my mount as it broken its strides and that cost me a certain place”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards were satisfied that an alteration to the placings could be justified.
TerrificJockey M Shahid the rider of TERRIFIC was reported to the Stewards in relation to his riding. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey M Shahid. After hearing his statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations they decided to suspend the Jockey’s licence granted to Jockey M Shahid w.e.f. 23 Dec 2017 to 16 Jan 2018 (both days inclusive) for careless riding thereby contravening Rule No.161 (i) of RWITC Rules of Racing. He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension. Advised of his Right of Appeal.
Gallop AwayJockey M I Qureshi the rider of GALLOP AWAY was fined Rs.3000/ for not sufficiently persevering with his mount in the last 200 mts of the race.
Anahita (OL)Trainer H A Khan was fined Rs.1000/ for failing to produce the registered owner’s colours at the scales and he was further permitted to use the emergency colours “ALL BLACK” on his charge I WANNA RUN.

Ponty RossaJockey Akash Rajput the rider of PONTY ROSSA reported that his mount was hanging in badly in the straight inspite of his best effort to keep it on a even course. Trainer Richapl Singh was advised to take remedial measures before accepting with it again in a race.
AbastorJockey Jai Parkash the rider of ABASTOR reported that his mount was slowly out as the start was effected and thereafter he was bumped by MY GIRL GOING (Rajinder Saini) on his inside.
NeverloosethehopeJockey Irfan Ali the rider of NEVERLOOSETHEHOPE was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in soon after jumping out of the starting gate.
My Girl GoingThe Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that MY GIRL GOING had sustained a cut injury right hind during the race. Trainer V S Parmar was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

My AblazeMY ABLAZE (Khet Singh) was extremely fractious and refused to be loaded as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.
Miss ZacharyJockey Ramandeep Singh Bal the rider of MISS ZACHARY was reprimanded for shifting out and causing interference to GOLDEN GUINEA on his outside in the last 150 mts of the race. He was further informed that in view of CAPTIAN COOL galloping very awkwardly and circumstances of the race being run, he was given a benefit of doubt for the interference he had caused to GOLDEN GUINEA failing which he would have been fined suitably.
Golden GuineaPrior to ‘ALL CLEAR’ being declared Jockey Akash Rajput the rider of GOLDEN GUINEA requested to view the race video with a view to consider lodging an objection. After viewing the video Jockey Akash Rajput decided to proceed with an objection and accordingly objections was lodged by Jockey Akash Rajput the rider of GOLDEN GUINEA placed fourth by the Judge against Jockeys Ramandeep Singh Bal the rider of MISS ZACHARY placed first and Jockey M Shahid the rider of CAPTAIN COOL placed second by the Judge for “from 300 mts onward CAPTAIN COOL started coming onto me and winner MISS ZACHARY came out and squeezing my horse after 250 mts CAPTAIN COOL finally bumped me and at the same time winner who was running inside, came right in front of my horse due to which my mount could not get a clear run and that cost me a certain place.
Captain CoolJockey M Shahid the rider of CAPTAIN COOL reported that till approaching the bend and into home straight his mount was galloping well on its own. App 350 mts when he put pressure it shifted in inspite of him trying to control thereby tightened GOLDEN GUINEA on his inside and again when he tried to ride out, it shifted in further tightened and bumped GOLDEN GUINEA inspite of him making every efforts to control it. He further stated that he also had concerns with the action of his mount. Jockey M Shahid then stated that when making ground in the final 200 mts of the race, he was hesitant to continue riding for a number of strides as he was concerned when CAPTAIN COOL became awkwardly placed into the running of GOLDEN GUINEA. He further added that if his mount carried inwards, he would have caused severe accident to the horses on his inside namely GOLDEN GUINEA and MISS ZACHARY, hence he looked to his inside on a number of occasions to ensure the safety of the horses and their riders. Trainer A Khan was advised to take remedial measures before accepting with it again in a race.
Man MalhariJockey Irfan Ali the rider of MAN MALHARI was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift out from 400mts of the race.
Smile Of LoveJockey G S Shekhawat the rider of SMILE OF LOVE was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift out from the 800 mts of the race.

Be ChampionJockey Rajinder Saini the rider of BE CHAMPION was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in approaching 250 mts thereby tightening MISS HIEGL on his inside.
Dominating GirlJockey Akash Rajput the rider of DOMINATING GIRL, on questioning stated that he was instructed to position 2ND /3RD and do his best on entering the straight as in the last outing after being led his mount had failed to respond to the urgings of the jockey and ran disappointing. Hence, he was instructed to position 2nd /3rd and should avoid exposing the filly too early in the straight. He further stated that when he was making a move along the rails from the 400 mts, he was tightened by MISS HIEGL, hence approaching 300 mts he shifted out clear run and using the whip it further shifted out and thereafter he rode out his mount. His explanations were noted for future reference. Jockey Md Habeeb the rider of MISS HIEGL was reprimanded for repeatedly changing the course in the last 300 mts of the race thereby denying a clear run to DOMINATING GIRL.
SacharinesJockey M Shahid the rider of SACHARINES was reprimanded for easing out in the final stages of the race.
