1	(41)	THE IMPULSE PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1600M

Blue Mellon	Jockey Neeraj Rawal (BLUE MELLON) reported that his mount hung out in the straight and in the final stages suddenly ducked in. Tr.Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race, BLUE MELLON & TORCELLO were found to be sound.
Hermann	Jockey A.M.Tograllu (TORCELLO) has been cautioned for travelling wide while negotiating the bend and in the straight for no apparent reason.

2	(42)	THE GOLDEN EDITION PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26	2000M

Chopasni	CHOPASNI (C.S.Jodha) planted and had to be assisted out of the gates. Trainer Magansingh P.Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures and to show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race before next accepting to race.
Black Phantom	At the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, BLACK PHANTOM was examined at 1215 hours on 07/08/2010 and found to be having fever. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.
Drama Queen	DRAMA QUEEN (B.Prakash) missed the jump and lost about a length at the start. Near 600 metres, DRAMA QUEEN (B.Prakash) and WINNING TREAT (Dashrath Singh) made contact with each other.

3	(43)	THE GAMBLE FOR LOVE TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE	2000M

Tsesebe	TSESEBE (N.S.Parmar) took a fly jump and COSMOPOLITAN (B.Prakash) was slow out, both losing about 2 lengths each, at the start.
Cosmopolitan	After the race, COSMOPOLITAN was found to be sound.

4	(44)	THE ACE PLATE (DIV.II) A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1000M

Adams Law	Soon after the start, ADAMS LAW (C.S.Jodha) was steadied as WHISPERING WILLOWS (Shrikant Kamble) shifted in and went on the SEA BUCANEER (Vikram Jodha) who in turn shifted in and caused PROUD STAR (S.N.Chavan) to be steadied by its Rider. Jockey Shrikant Kamble has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. Soon on entering the straight, ADAMS LAW (C.S.Jodha) shifted out and caused ALBUURZ (Imran Chisty) to shift out and was steadied when awkwardly placed behind the heels of PROUD STAR (S.N.Chavan). Jockey C.S.Jodha has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Beyond Comparison	SEA BUCANEER (Vikram Jodha) was ridden in check between 800 metres and 600 metres while behind ADAMS LAW (C.S.Jodha).
Albuurz	After the race, ALBUURZ was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Whispering Willows	Following a poor performance, WHISPERING WILLOWS was subjected to a vet examination. The Sr.V.O. reported that after completion of the race, WHISPERING WILLOWS stopped on the track. On examination, it was found that the filly had suffered clip injury on the left hind tendon. The filly was sent to the Equine Hospital in the Horse Ambulance.
Devil In Disguise	At the start, DEVIL IN DISGUISE (App.M.A.Roushan) jumped out awkwardly towards outwards and then continued to veer outwards. Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race.
Festive Light	FESTIVE LIGHT (A.M.Tograllu) and LADY GENEREUSE (Altaf Sayyed) were slowly out and lost about 3 lengths each at the start. Since FESTIVE LIGHT had behaved in a similar manner in its previous outing, Trainer Vinay Lagad has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

5	(45)	THE DR. K.VASUDEVAN TROPHY (DIV.II) A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1200M

Crowned Princess	Trainer Narendra Lagad requested for withdrawal of his charge CROWNED PRINCESS on late realization (after the Declaration stage) of the medication given to the filly, as such, CROWNED PRINCESS was permitted to be withdrawn and Trainer Narendra Lagad has been fined Rs.15,000/ as also the cost of forwarding and analysis of the urine sample for testing.
Sea Warrior	On questioning, Jockey R.Biramne (SEA WARRIOR) stated that his instructions were to ride from a position wherever he could find himself. He added that he was forced to travel wide while negotiating the bend since there were horses on his inside and after that he has ridden out. The explanation was noted.
Real Success	After the race, RIVER CHIEFTAIN & STAR EMPIRE were found to be sound.

6	(46)	THE ALDEBURGH PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86	1000M

Estevez	Near 900 metres, ESTEVEZ (App.P.Trevor) was steadied when ATTILA (N.S.Parmar) shifted in. Jockey N.S.Parmar has been advised to be more careful in future.
Dear Liza	The Stewards at their meeting held on Saturday, 28th August, 2010 interviewed Jockey J.E.Pereira in the above connection. The Stewards having heard Jockey J.E.Pereira and having viewed the video recording of the race, were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey J.E.Pereira and held him guilty of foul riding on his mount SEA TREASURE in the above race. In that, despite being aware that his horse had the habit of hanging in, he switched his whip to the left hand just before the final bend. Thereafter, when his horse started hanging in after entering the straight and he was aware that there was a horse racing along the rails, on his inside, yet he used the whip with his left hand on the shoulder and deliberately shifted in and caused interference to DEAR LIZA, a fancied runner, so as to benefit another horse belonging to the same connections. Therefore, the Stewards decided to suspend his Jockey’s license w.e.f. 12th September, 2010 to 16th October, 2010 (both days inclusive) for foul riding (Not permitted to ride work/mock race).
Sea Treasure	Near 300 metres, SEA TREASURE (J.E.Pereira) shifted in as the Jockey tapped his mount and caused severe interference to DEAR LIZA (B.Prakash). Jockey J.E.Pereira has been reported to the Stewards for Careless Riding.

7	(47)	THE DR. K.VASUDEVAN TROPHY (DIV.I) A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66	1200M

Always Smile	ALWAYS SMILE (CS Jodha) luggedin during the race. Trainer H.J.Antia has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Catalyst(O)	Soon on entering the straight, CATALYST (J.Chinoy) shifted out hampered the running of FORWARD CHARGE (Ladjadj Stephane) who in turn inconvenienced HUNTER BAY (R.Shelar). Jockey J.Chinoy has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Finfoot	Near 1100 metres, FINFOOT (N.S.Parmar) raced keenly and the Jockey allowed his mount to shift out and went on to ALWAYS SMILE (C.S.Jodha), who shifted out and inconvenienced LAKHADEMA (Neeraj Rawal) who travelled wide. Jockey N.S.Parmar has been fined Rs.2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. The Sr.V.O. reported that FINFOOT showed signs of distress after completion of the race. The filly was given first aid treatment and sent to the stables.
Vibgyor	At the start, VIBGYOR (App.D.Akkshay) jumped out awkwardly and as the gelding was being steadied, lost ground.
Lakhadema	After the race, LAKHADEMA, HUNTER BAY & ALWAYS SMILE were found to be sound. LAKHADEMA had a clip injury on the left hind pastern.
Hunter Bay	Near 500 metres, HUNTER BAY (R.Shelar) weakened due to which LAKHADEMA (Neeraj Rawal) who was following, had to shift out to progress in the race.

8	(48)	THE A. J. WADIA PLATE TERMS - 3 year old maidens only	1400M

Ocean Admiral	Soon after the start, OCEAN ADMIRAL (C.Rajendra) shifted in and went on to RED PASSION (Imran Chisty) who in turn shifted in hampered the running of DAUGHTEROFDESTINY (C.S.Jodha). Jockey C.Rajendra has been fined Rs.2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Daughterofdestiny	After the race, DAUGHTEROFDESTINY was observed to have a cut injury on the left hind pastern.
Grant Park	At the start, GRANT PARK (S.Sunil) jumped out awkwardly and shifted out and made contact with SWEET NOTHINGS (Neeraj Rawal).

9	(49)	THE ACE PLATE (DIV.I) A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1000M

Creme De La Creme	CRÈME DE LA CRÈME (Ladjadj Stephane) reared up on start and lost about 2 lengths. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials before next accepting to race.
Stud Of Gold	The Stewards at their meeting held on Saturday, 28th August, 2010 considered the evidence obtained by the Stipendiary Stewards in the above enquiry and having heard Jockey I.Shaikh and Trainer H.J.Antia and having viewed the video recording of both the races, were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey I.Shaikh and held him guilty of unsatisfactory riding on his mount STUD OF GOLD in Race No.17. Therefore, the Stewards decided to suspend his Jockey’s license w.e.f. 12th September, 2010 to 25th September, 2010 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (permitted to ride work/mock race). Further, he was severely cautioned for the future. The Stewards were also not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Trainer H.J.Antia in the subject case, however, they decided to give him the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. He was severely cautioned to ensure that his Jockeys follow instructions and do their best in the future and if he was not satisfied with the riding, he should immediately report the matter to the Stipendiary Stewards failing which the inference would be that the Jockey had his tacit approval.
Excelltastic	After the race, EXCELLTASTIC was found to be sound.
