ShaiSHAI could not be loaded into its stall in spite of repeated attempts and was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked.
Lord LuciferLORD LUCIFER (drawn 5) reared up and both fore of the gelding got stuck on the side bar of the gates hitting ALAMAS (drawn 6) on the withers. Under the circumstances both horses were permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

HornbillHORNBILL (Yash Narredu) broke down approaching the 1100 metres and was eased up by the rider. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the left stifle of the gelding was fractured and at the request of the Trainer it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
DestroyerJockey P S Chouhan, the rider of DESTROYER, reported loss of whip passing the 300 metres of the race.
Sea The SunThe Veterinary Officer reported that SEA THE SUN returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. P Shroff was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
