Forest NativeAt the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, FOREST NATIVE was examined on the race day (07/02/2010) at 0930 hours and was found to be going short by the right fore leg, as such the mare was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
NaraNear 700 metres, NARA (D.K.Ashish) was tightened when JOHNNY BRAVO (C.S.Jodha) shifted in. As such, Jockey C.S.Jodha has been fined Rs. 2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Johnny Bravo(O)In the final stages of the race, JOHNNY BRAVO (C.S.Jodha) shifted out and NARA (D.K.Ashish) shifted in and made contact with each other. Both the Jockeys, C.S.Jodha & D.K.Ashish, have been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over their respective mounts.
Master SpeedApproaching 200 metres, SEA ANGEL (Imran Chisty) shifted in and made contact with SACRED RELIC (Suraj Narredu) and then richocheted on to SOL (S.A. De Sousa). Jockey Imran Chisty has been reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. In the final stages of the race, SEA ANGEL (Imran Chisty) and SOL (S.A.De Sousa) lugged in. Trainers H.J.Antia and S.S.Shah have been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race their respective charge.
BenedictusAt the start, BENEDICTUS (App.S.Zervan) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and went on to NARA (D.K.Ashish). After the race, BENEDICTUS was found to be going short by the left fore leg and ONLY THE BRAVE was found to be sore by the left fore leg. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
YamlapagladeewanaGERRARD (R.P.Cleary) was inconvenienced approaching 1200 metres,and thereafter again near 1000 metres.
LandlordAfter the rce, SOL, LANDLORD & SEA ANGEL were found to be sound.

2 (177) THE ANTIQUITY BLUE `FUSION OF THE FINEST` TROPHY
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1600M
Moon StarMOON STAR (M.Fenton) & ADAMS PRINCE (C.S.Jodha) hung out in the straight. Trainers C.D.Katrak and Magansingh P.Jodha have been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race their respective charge.
LionwoodsThe Sr.V.O. reported that Trainer Sanjay Kolse did not report with his charge LIONWOODS for weighing. When questioned Trainer Kolse explained that LIONWOODS is a fractious horse and on the previous occasion when the horse was brought on the scales, he had played up and nearly injured himself and hence he did not take a chance of bringing him on the scale this time. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to school his charge to go on the scales.
Ocean TouchAt the start, OCEAN TOUCH (Imran Chisty) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and went on to FROST FAIRY (B.Prakash), who, whilst being steadied, shifted in due to which RIGEL (K.Fallon) shied and shifted inwards causing MONEYBAGS (V.Chandrakant) to shift in, who made contact with ADAMS PRINCE (C.S.Jodha).
Grey PhantomAfter the race, GREY PHANTOM was observed to have a gum injury.

3 (178) THE ROYAL CHALLENGE `GAME FOR LIFE` CHALLENGE
A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 86		 1400M
ScholarAfter the race, SCHOLAR was found to be sound.
Irish Queen [ire]IRISH QUEEN (IRE) (Suraj Narredu) jumped out awkwardly towards the outside causing HARMONICA (Imran Chisty) to travel wider. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

Watch OutAt the start, WATCH OUT (H.G.Rathod) jumped out riderless. On questioning the Jockey and after viewing the recording of the incident, Jockey H.G.Rathod has been cautioned for not being alert at the Start.
DevilittoPassing 800 metres, DEVILITTO (R.Shelar) was tightened due to a tightly packed field.
Candy FlossNear 800 metres, CANDY FLOSS (T.Mahesh) was taken wider by the Riderless horse, WATCH OUT.
EnticementAfter the race, ENTICEMENT were found to be sound.
Lady Black StarNear 600 metres, LADY BLACK STAR (Aadesh Kumar) was inconvenienced when RIO DEL RAY (Vikram Jodha) shifted in. Jockey Vikram Jodha has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Mistic MargaritaAt the start, MISTIC MARGARITA (Samuel Fargeat, dr. 2) and YOUNG OFFENDER (Dashrath Singh, dr. 3) were tightened when TATTENHOE (Daniel Bast, dr. 4) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and shortly afterwards, FISH PILOT (App D Akkshay, dr.1) lugged out.
Sea Of GraceAfter the race, SEA OF GRACE were found to be sound.

5 (180) THE DALMORE CUP
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 2400M
Lightning CavalryNear 600 metres, LIGHTNING CAVALRY (App.Kavraj Singh) was inconvenienced while racing on the inside of CRITICAL ACCLAIM (Neeraj Rawal). Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been asked to be more careful.
Only WhiteFRANCIS OF ASSISI (S.A.De S ousa) was reluctant and played up after being stalled. Since the gelding had behaved in a similar manner in its previous outing, Trainer Vinayak has been asked to take remedial measures and to show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next accepting with him to race.
KrugNear 200 meters, KRUG (Paul Mulrennan) was held up for a few strides when App.Kavraj Singh (LIGHTNING CAVALRY) shifted out to make his move. App.Kavraj Singh has been asked to be more careful.
Psychic PowerAt the start, PSYCHIC POWER (Y.S.Srinath, dr. 4) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside on to VINCERO (Samuel Fargeat, dr. 3) and at the same time APACHE INDIAN (M.Narredu, dr. 2) shifted out on to VINCERO, due to which APACHE INDIAN ricocheted on to FRANCIS OF ASSISI (S.A. De Sousa, dr. 1) and in the process APACHE INDIAN lost position.

7 (182) THE MCDOWELL SIGNATURE `BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL` TROPHY

Dear LizaNear 400 metres, DEAR LIZA (S.A. De Sousa) shifted out and in doing so, made contact with SEA VALUE (Imran Chisty). Jockey S.A. De Sousa has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Sea ValuePassing 400 metres, SEA VALUE (Imran Chisty) continued to lugout and forced EL TROPICO (D.K.Ashish) to travel wide. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Semper EademAt the start, SEMPER EADEM (Neeraj Rawal) stumbled and in trying to regain its balance, the filly shifted in and made contact with EL TROPICO (D.K.Ashish).
Tudor RegentTUDOR REGENT (Samuel Fargeat) was hampered for a clear run in the early part of the race due to a tightly packed field.
Swept AwaySWEPT AWAY (S.S.Baria) was tightened at the start.
Highland MusicHIGHLAND MUSIC (S.P.Ranjane) took a fly jump.

8 (183) THE B. K. RATTONSEY MEMORIAL MAIDEN MULTI-MILLION
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1200M
RoestiROESTI (Samuel Fargeat) reared up and flipped over resulting in the Jockey getting dislodged. Since Jockey Samuel Fargeal was unable to ride, ROESTI was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Tr.P.Shroff has been asked to give the colt more gate practice and to show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting with him to race.
Light My WayLIGHT MY WAY (Y.S.Srinath) was held up for a clear run approaching 200 metres. On a report from the Starter, Jockey Y.S.Srinath has been fined Rs.3000/ for improper behavior at the Starting Gates and has been further severely cautioned for the future.
EloiseELOISE (Paul Mulrennan) was held up for a run on a couple of occasions in the final 300 metres. ELOISE (Paul Mulrennan) was placed fifth and STAR OF DECCAN (Suraj Narredu) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
Celestial CallAfter the race, TWIN SPICE was found to be sound.
Laurus PrideAfter the race, RAPIDE was found to be going short by the right fore leg. The colt has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

9 (184) THE MCDOWELL SIGNATURE INDIAN DERBY (GR.1)
TERMS - 4 years old only		 2400M
Lone MonarchLONE MONARCH (Suraj Narredu) planted and lost about a distance at the start. Since the colt had behaved in a similar manner in its previous outing, Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to show the colt to the satisfaction of the Starter in three Mock Races before next accepting with him to race.
BecketBECKET (Martin Dwyer) luggedin in the final stages of the race. Tr.S.Padmanabhan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt. After the race, BECKET was found to be sound.
Amazing RayAfter the race, AMAZING RAY was found to be going short by the right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

10 (185) THE ANTIQUITY RARE `FUSION OF THE FINEST` CUP (DIV.I)
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 1000M
Silver SandsSILVER SANDS (Neeraj Rawal) kept an erratic course in the straight, in that, the filly shifted in and went across CHECK HER OUT (App.M.A.Roushan) causing her to be checked, who, in the process shifted out and made contact with HIGHLAND WARRIOR (D.K.Ashish). Passing 200 metres, SILVER SANDS shifted in and caused IL TABARRO (M.Narredu) to shift inwards. Thereafter IL TABARRO lugged in and tightened PACEMAKER (Vikram Walker) on to CRÈME DE LA CRÈME (App.S.Zervan) with latter losing position. SILVER SANDS continued to shift in and caused IL TABARRO to shift in and tightened RIVER GEM (James Doyle) who was checked, due to which CRÈME DE LA CRÈME, who was following, was forced to shift out and carried PACEMAKER outwards, who in turn hampered CHECK HER OUT who was checked and in turn went on to MAJOR WAGER (V Chandrakant) who in turn went on to BONNY LIGHT (Daniel Bast) who made contact with GAME OF POWER (App.A.Sandesh) and in the process BONNY LIGHT ricocheted back on to MAJOR WAGER. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting with his charge SILVER SANDS to race.
Major WagerAfter the race, MAJOR WAGER was observed to have a gum injury. SILVER SANDS was found to be sound.
CaramelNear 800 metres, CARAMEL (P.Sandeep) was tightened and lost position.
Golden Kingdom (O)Trainer Robert D’Mellow has been fined R.3000/ for putting in late Declaration for his charge GOLDEN KINGDOM.
