Velvet RoseVELVET ROSE (P Kiran Rai), jumped out awkwardly and as such, the rider collided with the frames of the Gates, was totally unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount and thereafter, the horse ran riderless. As the incident was purely accidental, no action was taken besides noting the incident. Jockey P Kiran Rai was informed to be more alert, at the Start, in future.
CelestarSurprise sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dk b m CELESTAR.
Time AlwaysTIME ALWAYS (Shamaz Shareef) reared up as the gates opened.
Only HopeONLY HOPE (M Naveen) planted, swerved to the left after jump out and lost many lengths at the Start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must not accept with it until its behaviour improves to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race, on a Race Day, on the Race Track. ONLY HOPE (M Naveen) sustained injury on inside of the left hind pastern.

Virginia QueenPermission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md Sajid Qureshi to withdraw his charge, VIRGINIA QUEEN (S Imran) on veterinary grounds, from the above Race, as it was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to hoof abscess. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer, before accepting with it again.
Breaking NewsIt was observed that BREAKING NEWS (K Raghu) was drifting out under pressure, after entering the Straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but as the mare was extremely fractious, the mouth examination was abandoned. Trainer Mr. C Girinath was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards as to the vastly improved performance of BREAKING NEWS (K Raghu), the winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 17 of the Mysore Winter Races 201920, i.e., The Sakaleshpur Plate ? Div.II, (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, No Whip, run on Wednesday, 27th November, 2019, when ridden by Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) This horse had come under his charge very recently and that this was its first run under him; b) He had rested the horse well, it was fed well and was also working well, showing improvement during this period; c) He was running in this Race after a gap of forty two days; d) He had thought that his charge may just run on board as he had not fancied its chances, but his charge came out and won. While noting his explanations, he was informed to be more judicious in the running of his charges in future. Routine sample was taken for analysis from he winner, dk b m BREAKING NEWS.
Star HolidayTrainer Mr. J Sharavanan was fined Rs.5,000/ for discrepancies in shoeing, in respect of his charge, STAR HOLIDAY (Ajeet Kumar), in the above Race [First Infringement].
Birthday BabeIt was observed that BIRTHDAY BABE (Chotu Jaiswar) was inclined to run out, rounding the final bend and in the Straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
BanzaiIt was reported after the Race that BANZAI (R N Darshan) was lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer, before accepting with it again.

3 (58) THE ANSBACH PLATE

Kaguya HimeiKAGUYA HIMEI (R Ajay Kumar) was very fractious inside the Starting Stall, reared up and got cast, inside the Gates. Under the circumstances, it was withdrawn before coming under Starter`s order.
MomotaroAn enquiry is being held into the vastly improved performance of MOMOTARO (Chethan Gowda, trained by Mr. Rakesh), the winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 54 of the Mysore Winter Races 201920, i.e., The Varuna Plate (About) 1800 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, run on Eighth Day, Tuesday, 31st December, 2019, when ridden by Jockey C Umesh, it ran unplaced. Surprise sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g MOMOTARO.
AnterosJockey Irvan Singh, the rider of ANTEROS, was reprimanded for repeatedly changing course, in the Straight, for no apparent reason. Jockey Irvan Singh, was questioned as to his riding on his mount ANTEROS, in the above Race. The rider stated that his mount was not showing any initial speed, was also not galloping fluently and despite his efforts, did not improve position, in the back stretch. It was only in the Straight that it started to respond to his urgings and ran on well to finish second. While noting his explanations, he was informed to be more judicious while riding his mounts, in future.
PikachuIt was observed that PIKACHU (V R Jagdeesh) was hanging out after entering the Straight. Trainer Mr. S M Johnson was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. Leap Of FaithIt was observed during the Race that LEAP OF FAITH (Sameer Qureshi) did not get a clear run, between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres, due to a tightly packed field.
Veni Vidi ViciVENI VIDI VICI (T S Jodha) stumbled, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. Jockey Mukesh Kumar, the rider of STAND OUT, was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting ?in` and causing interference to KIR ROYALE (Arshad Alam), on his inside, which went onto VENI VIDI VICI (T S Jodha) on its inside, before passing the Red Marker Post.
AscendencyIt was reported after the Race that ASCENDENCY (R N Darshan) had apparently lost its left fore shoe, during the Race.
ArakARAK (Shivnath Paswan) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the Start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must not accept with it until its behaviour improves to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out, on a Starting Gate Practice Day.
