ImaraAn enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockey Sandeep Rajput from his mount IMARA passing the distance post. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the fall was accidental and no blame could be attached to any rider, as such, the ‘All Clear’ signal was ordered to be hoisted.
AntaresANTARES (Y S Srinath) was extremely fractious in its stall. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised not to accept with the filly until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
AhlanAHLAN (Hindu Singh), DESERT CAT (App Sujit Kr. Paswan) and SAM HOUSTON (C Alford) were fractious in their respective stalls.
RomancerJockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of ROMANCER, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to exercise control over his mount passing the distance post thereby allowing the gelding to drift ‘outwards’ and make contact with SICARIO (Mohit Singh) which was making much progress.
Sam HoustonThe Veterinary Officer reported that SAM HOUSTON returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Bharath Singh was informed not to accept with the gelding until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Super Chicb f LAMREI, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Saturday, 9th September, 2017 and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised not to accept with the filly until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
El MagnificoEL MAGNIFICO (App S Lalit) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings. Tr. Shyam S Habbu was advised to ensure that his charge arrives on time in future. EL MAGNIFICO (App S Lalit), JORELL (Md Imran), FLYING CLOUD (Prashant P Dhebe) and TOP GUN (Dashrath Singh) were slow to begin.

Fortune ExpressFORTUNE EXPRESS (C Alford) was slow to begin losing approximately four lengths at the start.The Veterinary Officer reported that FORTUNE EXPRESS returned without its left fore shoe. FORTUNE EXPRESS and BULGERIAN which raced poorly were examined by the Veterinary Officer who reported that no ailment was noticed. Their respective trainers are advised to keep their charges under observation and report ailment, if any.
