Early BirdIn a closely packed field EARLY BIRD (Imran Chisty) had to check his mount to avoid striking the front runners as it got keen, due to which his saddle shifted over the withers passing the 1200 Meters. As it was accidental, no action was taken beyond noting the incident.

He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CampfireJockey A. Imran Khan, the rider of CAMPFIRE reported that his mount drifted out rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was informed to take appropriate corrective measure before accepting with it again.
ClaireJockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of CLAIRE reported that his mount was hanging `in` rounding the bend and in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have single tooth cap on left side and lost its right hind shoe. However, Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Simple SumSIMPLE SUM (V.R.Jagadeesh) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.V. Lokanath was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day. Jockey V.R.Jagadeesh, the rider of SIMPLE SUM reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
