Major Coloursb g MAJOR COLOURS, a declared starter in the above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Friday, 11th August, 2017 and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Farley Rodrigues was informed not to accept with the gelding until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. SO REGAL (App Nikhil Naidu) arrived late to the start. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future.

ShohinJockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of SHOHIN, reported that his mount was inclined to run green throughout the race and during the final stages of the race the colt drifted to the outer portion of the race track. Tr. Bharath Singh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with his charge again.
JesterJESTER (Sandeep Rajput) travelling along the rails brushed against the rails when was squeezed for room by COOL CONQUEROR (Mohit Singh) passing the 400 metres. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Mohit Singh was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for failing to keep his mount on a straight path.

My Lady LuckMY LADY LUCK (Sandeep Rajput) and MUSTANG (A Imran Khan) were inconvenienced when App Nikhil Naidu, the rider of TOUGH ENOUGH, shifted ‘outwards’ on entering the straight. At a subsequent enquiry App Nikhil Naidu was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for making no attempt to keep his mount on a straight course.
My FreedomJockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of MY FREEDOM, was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ for the indifferent handling of his mount during the final 400 metres of the race.
