Germanicus	Passing 600 metres, GERMANICUS (A. Sandesh) shifted out and made contact with MERABELLA (C. S. Jodha).
Toofan	Passing 500 metres, TOOFAN (R. Ajinkya) was observed to have stumbled. After the race, Jockey R. Ajinkya reported that his mount had clipped the heels of the front runner JUNE (S. Zervan) and also that his mount hung in. Tr. Nina M. Lalvani has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race, TOOFAN was trotted and found to be sound
Essence Of Love	At the start, ESSENCE OF LOVE (H. G. Rathod, dr. 2) jumped outwards and made contact with MAGIC IN THE AIR (Dashrath Singh, dr.3) and at the same time GERMANICUS (A. Sandesh, dr.4) shifted in thereby tightening MAGIC IN THE AIR (Dashrath Singh). After the race, ESSENCE OF LOVE was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

3	(38)	THE AMAZING GRACE TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE	1200M
			2.30 P.M.

Brynhill	At the start, BRYNHILL (Santosh G., dr.3) shifted in on to PAPAKURA (S. Mosin, dr.2) thereby inconveniencing the latter. Passing 300 metres, BRYNHILL (Santosh G.) shifted in on to DEEP DIVER (Dashrath Singh) who in turn went on to ZANDER (J. Chinoy) who was tightened along the rails. On questioning, Jockey Santosh G. stated that his mount had hung in despite his efforts. Trainer Nazak Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Ageless	After the race, Jockey Suraj Narredu (AGELESS) reported that his mount hung out throughout the race. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Papakura	After the race, PAPAKURA was observed to have a bruise at the right fore fetlock. BRAMACHARI, BRYNHILL and AGELESS were found to be sound.
Brahmachari	After the race, Jockey C. S. Jodha (BRAHMACHARI) reported that the saddle on his mount had slipped during the race due to which he was unable to ride out in the straight. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been fined Rs.2,000/ for faulty saddling.

Firebolt	At the start, FIREBOLT (Dashrath Singh, dr. 7) shifted out taking the ground of CRISTO BOSS (D. A. Naik, dr. 8). After the race, Jockey Dashrath Singh reported that his mount grabbed the bit on one side and ran out. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race, FIREBOLT and PRINCESS ATHENA were trotted and found to be sound
Highland Princess	Approaching 700 metres, HIGHLAND PRINCESS (Shahrukh Khan) shifted in thereby inconveniencing LILAC TIME (Amyn Merchant).
Princess Athena	At the start, PRINCESS ATHENA (Towfeeq R. Shaikh, dr 3) jumped out brushing against its starting stall. Passing 600 metres, PRINCESS ATHENA (Towfeeq R. Shaikh) was observed to have drifted out. After the race, the Jockey reported that his mount hung out despite his efforts. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

Myrtlewood

MYRTLEWOOD (P. S. Chouhan) jumped out slow, losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of MYRTLEWOOD and a report will be submitted shortly. After the race, MYRTLEWOOD was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

6	(41)	THE DAKSHIN MAHARASHTRA SUB-AREA TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1400M
			4.00 P.M.

River Dance	Approaching 300 metres, RIVER DANCE (Yash Narredu) shifted out and went across TORREZZO (S. Zervan) who had to be checked. Jockey Yash Narredu has been fined Rs.2,000/.
Judicious	Passing 500 metres, JUDICIOUS (R. Shelar) shifted in thereby inconveniencing MIZILLA GOLD (App. Vishal). Thereafter, JUDICIOUS went on to SCARLET OF HOPE (Shrikant Kamble), who in turn shifted in on to ARAK (A. Sandesh) who was tightened along the rails and had to be checked and dropped back. Jockey R. Shelar has been fined Rs.3,000/. After the race, JUDICIOUS and ARAK were trotted and found to be sound. JUDICIOUS had an injury at the left nostril, ARAK had a bruise at the right hind coronet and NIGHT OF STARS had a bruise at the left hind coronet
Epsilon Orionis	At the start, RAINBOW BRIDGE (Bhawani Singh, dr 6) jumped out awkwardly brushing against its starting stall.
Diablo (O)	At the start, DIABLO (App. K. Nazil, dr.13) jumped outwards and made contact with NIGHT OF STARS (Kavraj Singh, dr.14).
There She Goes	THERE SHE GOES (N. B. Kuldeep) jumped out slow, losing about a length at the start.

			4.30 P.M.

Almost Magical	Passing 900 metres ALMOST MAGICAL (C. S. Jodha) shifted in thereby inconveniencing RICH N RARE (App. H. Zeeshan).
Mr Morrison	MR MORRISON (Dashrath Singh) and CHLOBUD (Towfeeq R. Shaikh) were restless in the stall and not allowing their riders to settle. Trainers S. Waheed and Altaf Hussain have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Make It Shine	At the start, MAKE IT SHINE (Bhawani Singh, dr. 9) shifted out and made contact with BOHEMIAN (Kishore Kadam, dr. 10).
Chlobud	After the race, CHLOBUD was observed to have a bruise at the left hind coronet and an injury at the right nostril. ACKER BILK was trotted and found to be sound.
Acker Bilk	At the start, ACKER BILK (S. Joseph, dr.5) jumped outwards and at the same time CHLOBUD (Towfeeq R. Shaikh, dr.7) jumped out awkwardly and shifted inwards, due to which ETERNAL DANCER (App. Shahrukh Khan, dr.6) was tightened for room and had to be checked. Thereafter, Jockey Towfeeq R. Shaikh (CHLOBUD), in an effort to straighten his mount, shifted out on to LOGANO (S. Sunil).

8	(43)	THE TO THE MANOR BORN PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26	1800M
			5.00 P.M.

Allegiance	ALLEGIANCE (Shrikant Kamble) was fractious and refused to be stalled, as such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. SANAM (C. S. Jodha) took a fly jump and lost about 4 lengths. Trainers Narendra Lagad and B. Prakash have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Maqsad	At the request of Trainer A. M. Jadhav, MAQSAD was examined at 1930 hours on 12/08/2016 and was found to have painful swelling on the withers and also had fever. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Dibaba	At the request of Trainer Sanjay Kolse, DIBABA was examined at 0850 hours on 13/08/2016 and was found to have fever. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Secret Flame	Approaching 600 metres SECRET FLAME (DASHRATH SINGH) shifted in thereby tightening ARGYLE PINK (Kishore Kadam) and SANSA (Yash Narredu) whereby ARGYLE PINK had to be steadied. Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.
Sansa	Approaching 600 metres SANSA (Yash Narredu) weakened and dropped back on to IMITATION GAME (P. S. Chouhan) forcing the latter to be checked, due to which GOLDSMITH (R. Ajinkya) who was racing on the haunches of IMITATION GAME, also had to be checked and changed course causing interference to PRACS (N. S. Parmar). Jockey Yash Narredu (SANSA) reported the loss of his whip at about 350 metres.

9	(44)	THE BLUE FROG SALVER (DIV-I) A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1000M
			5.30 P.M.

Dragon Of War	At the start, DRAGON OF WAR (Dashrath Singh, dr.7) shifted out and at the same time KINGSTON HEATH (Suraj Narredu, dr.9) shifted in thereby tightening STAR ONE (A. Sandesh, dr.8). Passing 800 metres, DRAGON OF WAR (Dashrath Singh) shifted in thereby tightening FLYING SHOW (App. K. Nazil) along the rails. Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.
Tinogona	After the race, TINOGONA was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, TINOGONA and STAR ONE were trotted and found to be sound. FLYING SHOW had a cut injury at the right fore cannon.
