Glorious EyesJockey C. S. Jodha (GLORIOUS EYES.) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence, he has been fined Rs. 3,000/.

3 (46) THE DHUN P KOTHAVALA TROPHY

BewitchedAfter the race, BEWITCHED, BOADICEA and LOVELY KUDI (examined on 15/12/2017) were trotted and found to be sound. BOADICEA had a cut injury at the left hind coronet.
Pardon My DustThe Sr. V.O. reported that at the request of Trainer M. K. Jadhav, PARDON MY DUST was scoped on 15th December, 2017 and was found to have EIPH Gr. III. Being a first time bleeder, the gelding is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

4 (47) THE BEAUTIFUL STRANGER PLATE (DIV-II)

Bee QuirkyAn enquiry has been initiated into the improved performance of BEE QUIRKY in this race and a report will be submitted shortly.
RealityAt the start, REALITY (Bhawani Singh, dr.10) jumped inwards and made contact with RISING CONCERT (App. N. B. Kuldeep, dr.9), who in turn shifted in thereby inconveniencing DANCE OF FIRE (T. S. Jodha). After the race, App. N. B. Kuldeep reported that he had lost his left stirrup soon after the start and was unbalanced and thereafter he regained the same passing the 600 metres.
Rising ConcertTrainer Narendra Lagad has been fined Rs.1,000/ for racing his charge RISING CONCERT with bandages on both fore legs without obtaining prior permission for the same.
Arc Of PassionARC OF PASSION (Amyn Merchant) jumped out slow losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer Sangramsinh N. Joshi has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Dance Of FireAfter the race, Jockey T. S. Jodha (DANCE OF FIRE) reported that his mount hung out in the straight. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of DANCE OF FIRE and BOHEMIAN in this race and a report will be submitted shortly.
TareefTAREEF (S. A. Amit) reared up as the start was effected thus losing about 2 lengths at the start.

BlitzkriegAfter the race, Jockey D. S. Daman (BLITZKRIEG) reported that his mount hung out in the straight. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
RoethkeAt the start, GNOSTIC EYES (App. Shahrukh Khan, dr.5) jumped inwards and made contact with DECCAN KING (App. M. Ayyar, dr. 4).
Adam's CreationADAM’S CREATION (A. Imran Khan) lost its footing and stumbled after the start resulting in losing about 6 lengths at the start. After the race, ADAM’S CREATION was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Point The StarPOINT THE STAR (App. Raghuveer Singh) jumped out throwing its head thus losing about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. At the start, POINT THE START (App. Raghuveer Singh) was observed to have taken a fly jump. After the race, App. Raghuveer Singh reported that due to the above, he had lost his stirrup which he regained immediately.

6 (49) THE ALDEBURGH PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1000M
7.30 P.M.
Backstreet BayApproaching 100 metres, Jockey A. Imran Khan (BACKSTREET BAY) was observed to have lost his whip. This being the first instance, no action has been initiated against the Jockey.
Make It ShineAt the start, MAKE IT SHINE (S. G. Prasad, dr.5) jumped outwards on to SPONTANEOUS EDDIE (App. Raghuveer Singh, dr.6) who had to be checked. Passing 400 metres, MAKE IT SHINE (S. G. Prasad) was observed to have drifted out and finished the race on the extreme outside. Since the mare had behaved in a similar manner in the past, Trainer Vijay Kasbekar has been asked to take remedial measures and to show his charge to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a Mock Race, before next accepting to race.
Speed Of SoundPassing 150 metres, SPEED OF SOUND (P. Trevor) shifted out and bumped SUPER ICON (App. R. Ajinkya) who had to be checked. Thereafter, SPEED OF SOUND further shifted out and made contact with BACKSTREET BAY (A. Imran Khan). Jockey P. Trevor has been fined Rs.3,000/.
Super IconApproaching 200 metres, SUPER ICON (App. R. Ajinkya) shifted out and carried BACKSTREET BAY (A. Imran Khan) outwards. App. R. Ajinkya has been cautioned. After the race, SUPER ICON and ZABISCO were found to be sore by the right fore leg. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Bidstone HillSoon after the start, BIDSTONE HILL (S. S. Baria) shifted in and went across MAKE IT SHINE (S. G. Prasad) and ZABISCO (Amyn Merchant) who had to be steadied. Jockey S. S. Baria has been cautioned.

7 (50) THE ABEETA PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66 - (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1000M

Glorious LandPassing 400 metres, GLORIOUS LAND (App. Raghuveer Singh) shifted out and carried DOUBLE NINE (P. S. Chouhan) outwards. After the race, App. Raghuveer Singh reported that his mount hung out. Trainer Adil Dajee has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
BenezeerAfter the race, BENEZEER was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
JimboJIMBO (App. K. Nazil) was reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainer Asad Siddiqui has been asked to take remedial measures.
Crystal BallAt the start, CRYSTAL BALL (B. Nikhil, dr.2) jumped outwards on to BENEZEER (A. Imran Khan, dr.3), who in turn shifted out on to DOMINATION (S. Mosin, dr.4) and at the same time JIMBO (App. K. Nazil, dr. 5) jumped inwards thereby tightening DOMINATION (S. Mosin dr. 4) who had to be steadied.
Almost MagicalPassing 300 metres, ALMOST MAGICAL (Bhawani Singh) shifted out on to BENEZEER (A. Imran Khan) who in turn shifted out on to JIMBO (App. K. Nazil). Jockey Bhawani Singh has been cautioned. After the race, ALMOST MAGICAL was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind fetlock. INDIAN SERENADE, GLORIOUS LAND and CRYSTAL BALL were found to be sound in the trot.
Indian SerenadeSoon after the start, INDIAN SERENADE (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and went across JIMBO (App. K. Nazil) and tightened BENEZEER (A. Imran Khan) who had to be steadied. Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.

8 (51) THE RAPIDASH PLATE

RooseveltSoon after the start, ROOSEVELT (A. Sandesh) was observed to have overreached and clipped KALINA (App. H. Zeeshan) and was unbalanced thereby dislodging the rider. Due to this incident, KISS FROM A ROSE (R. Ajinkya) was inconvenienced.
NightfallAt the request of Trainer Faisal A. Abbas, NIGHTFALL was examined at 1105 hours on 14/12/2017 and was found to be sore by the left hind leg with swelling on both hind legs. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Harmony Of The SeaApproaching 1000 metres, HARMONY OF THE SEA (A. Imran Khan) was observed to have stumbled and had to be steadied. After the race, HARMONY OF THE SEA was found to have a cut injury at the left fore cannon. The filly was examined again at the stables in the morning on 15/12/2017 and found to be sore by the left fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
My HunterAfter the race, POKERFACE and KALINA were trotted and found to be sound.
