Be ChampionAt the start, BE CHAMPION (Rajinder Saini) cut in sharply and went across the entire field on his inside and in the process GLORY AWAITS (Arman Ali Jafri) and GOLDEN COAST (G S Shekhawat) received interference. Jockey Rajinder Saini was fined Rs.3000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. Near 100 metres, BE CHAMPION (Rajinder Saini) shied away from the whip. The veterinary examination of BE CHAMPION revealed a mouth injury on right side. Trainer Magan Singh has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to the filly being presented for any future trial or race.
PowerhausPOWERHAUS (Sameer Qureshi) bolted away while proceeding to the Starting Gates. However, with the consent of Trainer it was permitted to race again.
Niche DiamondAt the start, BLACK DIAMOND (D Kumar) and HURACAN (S Lalit) were slow to get into their strides.
HuracanJockey S Lalit (HURACAN) has been cautioned for travelling wide in the early part of the race and while negotiating the bend.

4 (155) THE SKY HIGH PLATE

Enchanting LadySoon after the start, ENCHANTING LADY (S Amjad Khan) shifted in and tightened MISS DUNCAN and thereafter after travelling further again tightened MISS DUNCAN. Jockey S Amjad Khan has been fined Rs.2000/.
Miss DuncanJockey Irfan Ali (MISS DUNCAN) has been fined Rs.3000/ using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (1st offence during the meeting)
Gallop AwayJockey M I Qureshi (GALLOP AWAY) has been fined Rs.3000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (1st offence during the meeting)
BlavatskyBLAVATSKY was examined after the race and was found to be sound.
Master BoltJockey Syed Asgar (MASTER BOLT) was questioned regarding his riding. He stated that he was instructed to be in 4th/5th position and to do his best. Jockey further stated that he felt his mount to be uncomfortable during the race, hence he was not vigorous in his riding. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that gelding was found to be lame by its both the forelegs. After questioning, Trainer Bharat T Singh was requested to submit the Logbooks in respect of his charge. The Trainer has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate prior to presenting the gelding for any future trial or race. Since the horse returned lame after the race, no action was initiated against the Jockey. The scrutiny of the Logbooks did not reveal any discrepancy.

5 (156) THE HINDON AIR BASE PLATE (DIV-I)

OsculateSoon after the start, OSCUALTE (Gurpreet Singh) shifted out and then shifted in as also did KIRPAN (R Parvesh) and went across GOLDEN TAIL (Md. Asif Khan) who had shifted out due to BRAVE LANCER (Mohd Asif) shifting out at that stage. GOLDEN TAIL was again steadied as KIRPAN shifted inwards. Jockey R Parvesh has been cautioned. Jockey Gurpreet Singh (OSCULATE) was questioned regarding his riding effort. He stated that he had been instructed to be in 4th/5th position and to do his best. He further stated that when he used the whip the filly pinched its ears, and therefore, he had not used the whip thereafter. The Jockey could not point out the stage at which he had used the whip when the mare could have pinched her ears. When questioned, Trainer Magan Singh stated that he had instructed the Jockey to take a good jump and be in 3rd/4 or 5th position and make a move from 500 metres and to do his best. He stated that his filly does pinch her ears when used the whip and he added that the filly was moving well in the later part of the race. When specifically asked had the Jockey ridden more vigorous and used the whip, could the mare had beaten the winner, to which he agreed. Not being satisfied with their explanation tendered by them, an enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of OSCULATE.
Conquering BidSoon after the start, CONQUERING BID (Amyn Merchant) was eased off the heels of FIRST DANCER (Arman Ali Khan) shifted outwards.
First DancerJockey Arman Ali Jafri (FIRST DANCER) has been cautioned for failing to continue making an effort till past the Post.

6 (157) THE HINDON AIR BASE PLATE (DIV-II)

Bee PrincessJockey Jai Parkash (BEE PRINCESS) has been fined Rs.5000/ for dropping his hands before passing the post thereby posing 1st position.
Ashwa DhruviASHWA DHRUVI (Khet Singh), GLENEAGLES (Sameer Khan) and FELICITY (GS Shekhawat) were found to be lame by their left fore legs. As such all the three horses have been stopped from racing until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer. Trainers I S Parmar, K P Singh, Magan Singh have been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting their respective charges for any future trial or race.
Master PhoenixJockey Sandeep Rajput (MASTER PHOENIX) was observed to have used his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (3rdoffence during the meeting). The matter was reported to the Stewards and consideration of the same was deferred to their next meeting.
Patiala PegJockey K Narender Kumar (PATIALA PEG) has been fined Rs. 3000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (1st offence of the meeting).
GleneaglesJockey Sameer Khan (GLENEAGLES) reported that the tongue strap was missing after the race. Trainer K P Singh was advised to ensure that the equipments used should be properly fastened.
FelicityAt the start FELICITY (G S Shekhawat) shifted in and jostled with MASTER PHOENIX (Sandeep Rajput) who went onto PATIALA PEG (K Narender Kumar) and ASHWA DHRUVI (Khet Singh), the worst to be effected was PATIALA PEG. Jockey G S Shekhawat has been fined Rs.4000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
