TencendurIt was observed that before passing the winning post Jockey C.A.Brisson the rider of TENCENDUR stopped riding possibly keeping in mind that he had won the race. Reported to the Stewards for riding an overconfident race, matter was differed.
Heart Of GoldHEART OF GOLD (Prashant.P.Dhebe) jumped awkwardly inwards causing interference to WELCOME SPECIAL (K.V.Basakar), the incident being accidental no action was taken.

2 (8) THE KODANAD PLATE

Cape CodCAPE COD (R.N.Darshan) was fractious, kicked the starting stalls(injured left fore cannon) and was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds.SSC revoked.
OtusWhile negotiating the 800 meters ATC bend the field drifted out and in trying to correct his mount OTUS jockey Kishore Kadam shifted in resulting in AMATERASU (P.Kiran Rai) travelling on his right hind quarter receiving a check and dropping the rider at about the 700 meters due to crowding. The incident being accidental no action was taken.
Kings BlackJockey Md.Asif Khan reported that his mount KINGS BLACK was inclined to hang out throughout the straight.
Striking DistanceJockey Prashant.P.Dhebe reported that his mount STRIKING DISTANCE was inclined to hang in for major part of the race. Trainer Craig Marshall was asked to take remedial measures before accepting with his charge again.

3 (9) THE BURLIYAR PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45		 1300M

WinraiseROYAL RULES (Nakhat Singh) was observed to hang out in the final stages of the race.
Star ImperialSTAR IMPERIAL (R.N.Darshan) was slow to start losing about 4 lengths. Trainer R.Foley was asked to show his charge at the gates to the satisfaction of the starters.

4 (10) THE GURUVAYUR PLATE
TERMS - 3 years old only		 1300M

Chola EmperorCHOLA EMPEROR (Rayan Ahmed) broke down passing the 100 metres dislodging the rider, sustained multiple fractures of the metacarpal bone and was put to sleep on humanitarian grounds.
Royal CurrencyAn enquiry has been opened into the start of ROYAL CURRENCY (R.N.Darshan).

5 (11) THE SIMS PARK CUP
A Handicap for Horses rated 60 TO 85		 1100M

Glorious LillyGLORIOUS LILLY (C.A.Brisson) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds (trotting lame on left hind) before coming under the Starter’s orders. Trainer J.Sebastian was asked to get his charge certified fit before accepting with it again.
My KingdomMY KINGDOM (M.Baskar) jumped awkwardly inwards onto EXCELLENT PHOENIX (Prashant.P.Dhebe).

6 (12) THE KUNDAH PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 65		 1400M

D WarriorSTORMY ATLANTIC (Azfar Syeed) was asked to be examined by the Veterinary Officer who reported that on endoscoping the gelding had suffered from EIPH(Grade II).
Texas RoseTrainer Vishesh M.P. was fined a sum of Rs.2000/ for parading his charge TEXAS ROSE (Mukesh Kumar) without Blinkers, the equipment was subsequently put on before the horse left the paddock.

7 (13) THE METTUPALAYAM PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45		 1200M
1:30 PM
MulliganMULLIGAN (Azfar Syeed) was fractious, played up and was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the starter’s orders, SSC revoked.
