Admiral Act

Jockey R Ajay Kumar, the rider of ADMIRAL ACT, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post. Trainer Mr. G T Surender and Jockey R Ajay Kumar were questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards as to the running and riding of ADMIRAL ACT, in the above Race. The Trainer Stated as follows; a) His charge had won over a mile during the Mysore Summer Races 2019 and had finished a good second in its previous outing over 6 furlongs; b) His instructions to the rider was to sit in 4th, 5th or 6th position and to do his best in the Straight; c) He had fancied both his runners to do well and one of them came out and won the Race. Jockey R Ajay Kumar, while corroborating the statement of the Trainer also stated that before the mile bend, PIKACHU (A S Peter) came out and slightly took him out so he could not grab position along the railings and thereafter when it went in, he also shifted in and settled his mount along the railings. Thereafter GREEN MEADOW (H Rahul) was shifting in and out, in front of him and hence he had trouble settling his mount along the railings. Their explanations were noted. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was cautioned to be more judicious in running his charges in races in future.

Green Meadow

Jockey H Rahul, the rider of GREEN MEADOW, was reprimanded for not maintaining a proper course in the back stretch and again, for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post.

2	(56)	THE ASHWAJAYA PLATE (DIV-II) A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 25 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1200M

Little Brown Jug	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey Nazar Alam to ride his charge, LITTLE BROWN JUG, in the above Race. LITTLE BROWN JUG (Nazar Alam) planted and did not take part in the Race; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two Mock Races on Race Days on the race track.
Run To Win	RUN TO WIN (H M Akshay) was observed to be suffering from fever. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and the horse was kept under observation; Trainer Mr. G Srinivas Babu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Surprise Package	Jockey Chotu Jaiswar, the rider of SURPRISE PACKAGE, was reprimanded for exulting before passing the Winning Post.
Big Time Bay	BIG TIME BAY (R Shiva Kumar) accidentally brushed the Gates, while jumping out of the Starting Gates.
Celestar	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey P S Kaviraj to ride his charge, CELESTAR, in the above Race. CELESTAR (P S Kaviraj) sustained small injury on left hind outer fetlock.

3	(57)	THE ARISTOCRAT PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1100M
			3.30 P.M.

Celtic Mist	As Jockey R Shiva Kumar, the declared rider of CELTIC MIST, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Second Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Bobby to substitute Jockey Altaf Hussain to ride CELTIC MIST in place of Jockey R Shiva Kumar, the declared rider. An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of CELTIC MIST (Altaf Hussain), the winner of this Race as compared to its previous run in Race No.24 of the Mysore Summer Races 2019, i.e., The Ranibennur Plate Div I, (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, 5 years old and over, run on Fourth Day, Wednesday, 12th June, 2019, when ridden by Jockey N B Kuldeep, it ran unplaced.
Dare The Don	DARE THE DON (H K Akshay) sustained small injury inside left fore fetlock.
Kazuri	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey Nazar Alam to ride his charge, KAZURI, in the above Race. KAZURI (Nazar Alam) jumped `out` awkwardly, at the start.
Lovely Micmel	LOVELY MICMEL (H Rahul) ran detached from the field; Trainer Mr. S M Johnson was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

4	(58)	THE ASHWAJAYA PLATE (DIV-I) A Handicap for Horses rated 00 TO 25 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1200M
			4.00 P.M.

Premier Ace	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to withdraw PREMIER ACE (A S Peter) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be walking lame on left hind due to nail puncture over sole surface; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Sky Jasmine	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey Chotu Jaiswar to ride his charge, SKY JASMINE, in the above Race. Jockey Chotu Jaiswar, the rider of SKY JASMINE, was fined Rs.1,000/ for coming `in`, thereby, causing interference to HONEY QUEEN (H Rahul) on his inside, which, in turn, went onto AYAHUASCA (Nazar Alam), on its inside, whereby the latter had to be checked by its rider to avoid striking the front runner and as such, the latter horse stumbled, approaching the 1000 Metres.
Safe Bet	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey H M Akshay to ride his charge, SAFE BET in the above Race.
Dolphin	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Bobby to substitute Jockey M Ayyar to ride DOLPHIN in place of Jockey R Shiva Kumar, the declared rider.
Honey Queen	Jockey H Rahul, the rider of HONEY QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/, for not being alert at the Start and thereafter, for not exercising enough control over his mount, whereby, he shifted out and bumped DIVINE RETRIBUTION (C P Khanal), on his outside, within 100 Metres from the Start of the Race.
Ayahuasca	AYAHUASCA (Nazar Alam) took a fly jump, at the start.

5	(59)	THE MYSORE COLTS TRIAL STAKES TERMS - 3 years old only	1400M
			4.30 P.M.

King T'chala	Jockey Azfar Syeed, the rider of KING T`CHALA, reported that his whip got entangled with the reins and while trying to recover it, he dropped it, passing the 250 Metres.
Gallantry	Jockey A S Peter, the rider of GALLANTRY, placed Second by the Judge, lodged objection against Jockey Azfar Syeed, the rider of KING T`CHALA, placed First by the Judge, for `from the 400 Metres, the winner started coming `out` and shifted so badly; My horse reacted and moved which affected my gallop when he was covering his ground and again shifted `in`, which also stopped my rhythm of my horse, which cost me a certain race`; The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned; After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
Glorious Destiny	GLORIOUS DESTINY (R Ajay Kumar) sustained bruises on both hind back of fetlock.

6	(60)	THE PASCHIMAVAHINI PLATE A Handicap for Horses rated 60 & ABOVE	1600M
			5.00 P.M.

Dont Trust Any One

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey Chotu Jaiswar to ride his charge, DONT TRUST ANYONE, in the above Race. Jockey Chotu Jaiswar, the rider of DONT TRUST ANYONE, reported that his mount was hanging `out` throughout the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Crescendo

CRESCENDO (L Kamigallu) took a fly jump, did not raise a fluent gallop after coming out of the Starting Gates, thereby losing many lengths at the Start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed to ensure better performance of his charge and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improves to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the Race Track.

Roosevelt	As Jockey R Shiva Kumar, the declared rider of ROOSEVELT was certified medically unfit after his ride in the 2nd Race and as no suitable substitute Jockey was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi to withdraw ROOSEVELT from the above Race.
Deimus	As no suitable Jockey was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi to withdraw DEIMUS from the above Race.
Contributor	An enquiry is being held into the relative performance of CONTRIBUTOR (Altaf Hussain), the winner of this Race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 52 of the Mysore Summer Races 2019, i.e., The S V Subramaniam Memorial Trophy – (About) 1400 Metres for horses rated 40 to 65, run on Eighth Day, Wednesday, 10th July, 2019, when ridden by Jockey M Bhaskar, it ran unplaced.
Poets Song	It was reported after the Race that POETS SONG (H M Akshay) burst its blood vessels; Trainer Mr. S M Johnson was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Jersey Bride	Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey R Ajay Kumar to ride his charge, JERSEY BRIDE, in the above Race.
Mandy	MANDY (Chotu Jaiswar) did not raise a fluent gallop after the start; Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
Rosebrook	Jockey Azfar Syeed, the rider of ROSEBROOK, reported that his mount was hanging `out` in the straight; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
