BeatrixApproaching the 800 metres in a tightly packed field BEATRIX (Afzal Khan), LINARIA (Hindu Singh) and MARIGOLD (App Hasib Alam) received various degrees of inconvenience, the chief suffering being MARIGOLD, when CITY HEIGHTS (App P Tejeshwar) travelling along the rails was shifted ‘outwards’ to prevent running into the heels of GHOST CREEK (App Sujit Kr. Paswan). Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of DREAM EXPRESS, was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ for failing to infuse adequate vigour to his riding during the final 400 metres of the race.

Subsequent to interviewing Jockey Hindu Singh, Tr. J E Mckeown was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.
FeniciaMAGIQUE (Md Imran) finished the race detached from the field. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

Tr. R V Gowli was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
