MagnetoJockey S. Saqlain (MAGNETO) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 1st offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2023/24, he has been fined Rs.3,000/.
Wall StreetOn arrival at the starting gates, at the request of Jockey P. Trevor (WALL STREET), his mount was examined by the Club’s V.O who certified him fit to race. After the race, WALL STREET was trotted and found to be sound. Further, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, endoscopy was performed on WALL STREET and was found to have EIPH (Gr.II).

4 (77) THE NADIA MARY HOMI WADIA TROPHY (DIV-II)
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1000M

SachikoAt the request of Trainer Karthik Ganapathy, SACHIKO was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. in the stable area at 6.00 p.m. on 18th January, 2024 and was found to be sore by right fore, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
CelestinaTr. Bezan Chenoy informed that his charge CELESTINA was under medication and had requested to withdraw the filly from the race. As such, he was permitted to withdraw his charge and is fined Rs.15,000/ for his lapse. Further, in accordance with the Calendar Notification the sample has been collected for analysis.
Fast ApproachAfter the race, FAST APPROACH was found to have a wolf tooth. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to take remedial measures.
WindborneAfter the race, Jockey Y. S. Srinath (WINDBORNE) reported loss of whip approaching the 200 metres. This being his first instance during the current Mumbai Meeting 2023/24, no action has been initiated.
MemphisAfter the race, MEMPHIS was found to have an injury on right hind pastern.

Raise The StakesRAISE THE STAKES (N. S. Parmar, dr.9) reared up in the stall and got her right fore stuck in the adjoining gate and was leaning behind, as such, the filly was taken out and was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer Aman Altaf Hussain has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. After the race, MUMTAZ was trotted and found to be sound and RAISE THE STAKES was found to have a gum injury and bruises on right elbow.
BaklavaAfter the race, BAKLAVA was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore, as such, the colt has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Gypsy SoulGYPSY SOUL (H. M. Akshay, dr.5) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
MumtazAfter the race, MUMTAZ was trotted and found to be sound and RAISE THE STAKES was found to have a gum injury and bruises on right elbow.

7 (80) THE F. K. VAKIL TROPHY
