Xliteb f XLITE (I Khan) was fractious during the parade of runners in the paddock and in the process fell, sustaining multiple minor injuries on the neck and other parts of the body. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Javed Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
ChittagongCHITTAGONG (Sk Israil) was slow to begin.
CommittedSome distance after the start App Ranidan Singh, the rider of COMMITTED, shifted ‘in’ causing interference to CARPE NOCTEM (Akash Rajput) and once again when approaching the 700 metres shifted ‘in’ resulting in CARPE NOCTEM having to be checked by its rider. At a subsequent enquiry App Ranidan Singh was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to exercise adequate control over his mount.

Magic In The AirMAGIC IN THE AIR (App Jorawar Singh) and RUNNING HAND (B Mahesh) were slow to begin.
Running HandJockey B Mahesh, the rider of RUNNING HAND, was severely reprimanded for failing to exercise adequate control over his mount thereby allowing it to drift ‘outwards’ under pressure when passing the distance post.
Fite Of HonourJockey Zarar Alam, the rider of FITE OF HONOUR, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).
RegalJockey Surjeet Singh, the rider of REGAL, reported loss of whip during the concluding stages of the race.

5 (197) THE ALTERIO HANDICAP

Midnight StarJockey Hindu Singh, the rider of MIDNIGHT STAR, reported loss of whip passing the 300 metres
The TalismanTHE TALISMAN (B Mahesh) and MEET THE LEGEND (C Alford) were fractious in their respective stalls.
Meet The LegendMEET THE LEGEND (C Alford) made contact with THE TALISMAN (B Mahesh) when taking evasive action to avoid running into the heels of FLANKER (App Ranidan Singh) which shifted ‘in’ towards the rails when not adequately clear of MEET THE LEGEND. At a subsequent enquiry Jockeys C Alford, B Mahesh and App Ranidan Singh were interviewed and App Ranidan Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for this incident and informed that should he ride in a similar manner once again he would be dealt with more severely.

HeliconiaHELICONIA (Hindu Singh) and POWER OF FREEDOM (Shezad Khan) were slow to begin. Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of HELICONIA which kept an erratic course in the final 400 metres of race, was severely reprimanded for failing to exercise adequate control over his mount.
MizunoJockey A Ashhad Asbar, the rider of MIZUNO, reported that his mount when placed under pressure kept an erratic course passing the distance.
Dixie DiamondDIXIE DIAMOND (Neeraj Rawal) was fractious in its stall.
ArtificialARTIFICIAL (C Alford) was unable to get a clear run approaching the 400 metres due to the crowding of the field.
Pouru ChistiPOURU CHISTI (Mohit Singh, drawn 7) and DIXIE DIAMOND (Neeraj Rawal, drawn 3) made contact with each other soon after the start.
Thunder OnTHUNDER ON (App Ranidan Singh) which was fractious in its stall was slow to begin.
