AerospeedAn enquiry was held on 20th December, 2020 by the Stipendiary Steward for the above race into the interference caused by Jockey S. Imran, the rider of AEROSPEED in that he shifted `in` and caused severe interference to ECO BONITA (N. B. Kuldeep) on his inside, whereby NERVA (M. Prabhakaran) which was travelling directly behind had to be checked by its rider to avoid clipping the front runner, whereby his mount stumbled totally unbalancing its rider passing the 900 Metres and he further shifted `in` and caused interference to FIERCE FIGHTER (A.Imran Khan) approaching 700 Metres. The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey`s Licence granted to S. Imran with effect from 1st January, 2021 to 25th January, 2021 (both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount AEROSPEED (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal. Jockey S. Imran, the rider of AEROSPEED was reprimanded for not wearing the goggles during the race.

Trainer Mr.Neil Darashah was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

2 (58) THE ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT PLATE

ComplianceCOMPLIANCE (Naveen M.) was extremely fractious while being loaded and was stuck on its left flank inside the gates for considerable period of time. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

RealiaJockey Akshay Kumar, the rider of REALIA reported that his mount was grabbing the bit on the right side throughout the race as such he had considerable difficulty in riding out his mount in the straight. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day. Jockey A. Sandesh, the rider of MANIFEST was reprimanded for shifting out and inconveniencing CAVALLINI (C.Umesh) on his outside approaching 500 Metres.
