Nano War

Permission was granted to Trainer L V R Deshmukh to saddle NANO WAR (App. A ASHHAD ASBAR) on behalf of Trainer A Vatsalya at both Trainers risk and liability. An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of NANO WAR trained by Mr. A. Vatsalya and ridden by App. A. Ashhad Asbar. The Stewards suspended App. A. Ashhad Asbar (NANO WAR) from riding in races with effect from 7th to 17th January, 2010 both days inclusive for riding his mount contrary to the given instructions.

Caladium	Jockey P.S. Chouhan (CALADIUM) was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for shifting in at about the 200 metres causing interference to RIO GRANDE (D.M. FENTIMAN).
Get Together	Jockey A. Imran Khan (GET TOGETHER) cautioned for shifting in 100 metres after the start taking the ground of RIO GRANDE (D.M. FENTIMAN). Jockey A Imran Khan (GET TOGETHER) was fined a sum of Rs. 1000/ for shifting out in the last 100 metres forcing out CALADIUM (P S CHOUHAN) who in turn shifted out causing interference to RIO GRANDE (D.M. FENTIMAN).
Rio Grande	RIO GRANDE (D.M. FENTIMAN) and TRUE FUTURE (S. SHOBAN BABU) jumped out awkwardly in & out respectively in the process taking the ground of CROWN PRINCE (DEEP SHANKER) and AADYA AADYA AADYA (VIVEK).

Part Time Lover	Jockey A. Imran Khan (PART TIME LOVER) cautioned for shifting in soon after the start taking the ground of ASHLEEN STATE (M.F ALI KHAN).
Chayanandan	CHAYANANDAN (DEEP SHANKER) took an awkward jump towards outside. Explanation of Jockey Deep Shanker (CHAYANANDAN) that his mount suddenly shifted out at about the 200 meters taking the ground of MERRY MAID (T.G. Mclaughlin).
Petradura	Jockey Ravinder Singh (PETRADURA) cautioned for shifting in approaching 600 metres taking the ground of CHAYANANDAN (DEEP SHANKER).
Merry Maid	MERRY MAID (T.G. Mclaughlin) took an awkward jump towards outside due to which ASPIPING STAR (N RAWAL) drawn on his outside shied and shifted out. Jockey T.G. Mclaughlin (MERRY MAID) reported that his mount was running green in the straight.

Alukkhas	Jockey Vivek (ALUKKHAS) cautioned for shifting in at about the 800 metres taking the ground of INDIAN ARCHER (S. SREEKANT).
Indian Archer	INDIAN ARCHER (S. SREEKANT) returned trotting lame on his right fore.

Royal Scotsman	Jockey D. Gnaneshwar (ROYAL SCOTSMAN) reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race more so while negotiating the final bend inspite of his best efforts due to which he was unable to ride out his mount to complete advantage. Trainer advised.
Dream Dancer	DREAM DANCER (RAVINDER SINGH) trailed the field throughout the race. Trainer advised.
Colette	COLETTE (P S CHOUHAN) and RISING RAYS (VIKRAM WALKER) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.
Kohinoor Eye	KOHINOOR EYE (N RAWAL) dropped back from about the 800 metres and thereafter trailed the field. Trainer advised.

Alpine Girl (O)

Jockey N. Rawal (ALPINE GIRL) fined Rs. 2,000/ for cutting across the field soon after the start causing interference to SPRINT CHAMP (R. RUPESH) and PAGE THREE (M. KRISHNA).

Greet Well

App. A. Ashhad Asbar (GREET WELL) and Jockey Ch K Chary (DECCAN PASSION) cautioned for shifting out and in respectively at about the 200 metres bumping each other. An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of GREET WELL (App. A ASHHAD ASBAR). The Stewards suspended App. A. Ashhad Asbar (GREET WELL) from riding in races with effect from 7th to 24th January, 2010 both days inclusive for failing to persevere with his mount in the last 100 metres. Both the aforesaid punishments would run concurrently. Permitted to ride work.

English Indian	Jockey Vikram Walker (ENGLISH INDIAN) cautioned for shifting in at about the 800 metres taking the ground of ULTRA VIOLET RAY (CH K CHARY).
Ultra Violet Ray	Consequent to Jockey B Shanker being declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Ch K Chary to be substituted on ULTRA VIOLET RAY.
Essence	ESSENCE (M F ALI KHAN) slow out losing 1 or 2 lengths.
