Gallant PrinceJockey Harish (GALLANT PRINCE) reported that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer L.D’Silva was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

4 (273) THE ROYAL PRINCE PLATE

DanzsinghConsequent to the running of this race a section of the crowd demonstrated against the result. The Stewards held an enquiry into the crowding immediately after the start and having established that DANZSINGH (App. Ajay Gaikwad) clipped the heels of MAXIMUM CITY (A. IMRAN KHAN) and stumbled onto VIJAYSIDDANTH (P.S. CHOUHAN) resulting in both horses dislodging their riders the Stewards resolved to suspend Jockey Ch K Chary (JAAN BAAZ) and App. Ajay Gaikwad (DANZSINGH) from riding in races with immediate effect, pending further detailed enquiry. The Stewards further ordered that no change in the result was called for. The Stewards having enquired into the fall of App. Ajay Gaikwad (DANZSINGH) and Jockey P.S. Chouhan (VIJAYSIDDANTH) due to the crowding / jostling soon after the start resolved that no single individual was responsible for the incident which was purely accidental and as such resolved to withdraw the suspension imposed on Jockey Ch K Chary and App. Ajay Gaikwad with immediate effect;
VijaysiddanthVIJAYSIDDANTH (P.S. CHOUHAN) was subsequently reported to be lame.
Silver RoseApp. Harinder Singh (SILVER ROSE) was cautioned for drifting out in the final stages of the race though no interference was caused.

5 (274) THE APP.JOCKEY A PRAMOD GOUD MEMORIAL CUP (DIV- I)

Young CavalierYOUNG CAVALIER (A. RAMANA) stumbled and fell dislodging the rider at about the 600 metres. Since the incident was purely accidental no action was initiated beyond noting the incident. Jockey A. Ramana who was given immediate medical aid has been shifted to hospital and kept under observation. YOUNG CAVALIER had a fracture of his left fore and the gelding was subsequently put to sleep on humanitarian grounds.
