Heading GloryApproaching the distance post HEADLING GLORY (C Alford) was inconvenienced when NOVIKOV (B Mahesh) shifted ‘in’. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey B Mahesh was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for failing to exercise control over his mount.
New ChallengerNEW CHALLENGER (Sk Zaffar Riaz) and CHITTAGONG (Asghar) were slow to begin.
Mrs Willy NillyJockey Shezad Khan, the rider of MRS WILLY NILLY, reported loss of whip passing the 300 metres marker.

Jockey A Ashhad Asbar, the rider of CURTIS, reported that his mount hung ‘in’ during the final 400 metres of the race in spite of his best efforts to keep it on an even keel. Tr. D M David was advised to take appropriate corrective measures.
Hurricane StormHURRICANE STORM (Neeraj Rawal) and IMARA (Sk Zaffar Riaz) were slow to begin.
Fly FlyJockey Ranidan Singh, the rider of FLY FLY reported loss of whip passing the 400 metres.
Timeless MagicThe Veterinary Officer reported that TIMELESS MAGIC returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Shanayaa's PetSHANAYAA’S PET (Md Imran) which jumped out awkwardly from the gate finished off the race detached from the field. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

Highland PrincessHIGHLAND PRINCESS (Neeraj Rawal) was resaddled at the start.
Dancing PrinceDANCING PRINCE (Md Imran) was fractious in its stall. Jockey Md Imran, the rider of DANCING PRINCE, was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/ for not being alert at the start and thereafter for the indifferent handling of his mount throughout the race. The Jockey was further informed that should he continue to ride in a similar manner in future, he would be reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.

Mocha LocaMOCHA LOCA (Shrikant Kamble) which was fractious in its stall was slow to begin.
Celtic KingJockey Rajinder Singh, the rider of CELTIC KING and trained by Mr. Vikash Jaiswal, was reprimanded for not being alert at the start and for travelling wide while negotiating the bend for no apparent reason. Mr. Vikash Jaiswal was reminded that on a number of occasions he had been advised to ensure that his charges run in such a manner that leaves for no room for query, therefore, henceforth he would be held directly responsible should horses under his charge perform questionably.
ArvakJockey Imran Chisty, the rider of ARVAK, reported that his mount was repeatedly changing legs during the final stages of the race.
BullrunBULLRUN (App Sujit Kr Paswan) was slow to begin.

5 (112) THE ALBERT PIPERNO MEMORIAL CUP

Dixie DiamondJockey Shezad Khan, the rider of DIXIE DIAMOND, was fined a sum of Rs. 500/ for loss of whip on a 2 nd occasion.
Midnight MagicMIDNIGHT MAGIC (Hindu Singh) and OUTRIDER (P S Chouhan) were fractious while being stalled. Passing the distance post MIDNIGHT MAGIC (Hindu Singh) shifted ‘inwards’ while taking evasive ction when STORM FRONT (App Sujit Kr Paswan) was carried ‘inwards’ by DARK GOLD (Ranidan Singh). At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Ranidan Singh was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for shifting ground for no apparent reason.
Torch BearerTORCH BEARER (App P Vikram) was extremely fractious while being stalled. In view of its behaviour Tr. J E Mckeown was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
MizunoMIZUNO (David Allan) was slow to begin.

6 (113) THE INDIAN CHAMPAGNE STAKES (GR.3)
TERMS - 3 years old only

AashnaAASHNA (Suraj Narredu), COUP DE GRACE (Imran Chisty) and EASTERN STAR (Dashrath Singh) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from their respective stalls.

7 (114) THE INDIAN CHAMPION CUP (GR.1)
TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD

ColombianaCOLOMBIANA (Neeraj Rawal) and TOROROSSO (S Zervaan) were slow to begin.
AzzurroAZZURRO (P Trevor) planted losing considerable ground at the start. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.
Tororossob g TOROROSSO (S Zervaan), trained by Mr. Jasbir Singh, was extremely fractious while being saddled and as a result it was brought very late to the parade ring. The gelding on reaching the starting gates was examined by the Veterinary Officer as a precautionary measure and passed fit to race. Soon after the running of the race the gelding was reexamined as it had performed poorly and no ailment was reported. The following morning the gelding was once again examined and no ailment was noticed. However, Mr. Jasbir Singh requested that the gelding be scoped by the Veterinary Dept. After due process the Dept reported that the trachea of the gelding was clear and no other abnormalities were noticed.
