Fabulous CrownConsequent to Jockey K. Anil being declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey M. Mark to be substituted on FABULOUS CROWN.
MuskaanREALITY SHOW (G.B. KHADE) jumped out awkwardly towards outside in the process scraping the front gates due to which the Jockey lost his right stirrup iron which he regained after few strides thereby losing considerable ground and finished the course a distance behind. Trainer advised to show his charge at the gates before next acceptance.

6 (66) THE HUSSAIN SAGAR CUP (DIV-II)

PenumatchaThe Stewards suspended App. Nitin Singh (PENUMATCHA) from riding in races with effect from 4th to 14th December, 2009 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he had made no efforts to prevent his mount from shifting in, forcing in DANCING HARBOUR (P.S. CHOUHAN) who clipped the heels of SPRINT CHAMP (M. MARK), dislodging Jockey P.S. Chouhan at about the 400 metres. Permitted to ride work.
RavileenaJockey Deep Shanker (RAVILEENA) cautioned for shifting in soon after the start taking the ground of ICE CANDY (S. SREEKANT) and then again shifted in after traveling about 50 metres taking the ground of LOCAL IKON (RAVINDER SINGH). Jockey Deep Shanker (RAVILEENA) reported loss of his whip at about the 300 metres. RAVILEENA (DEEP SHANKER) returned lame on her left fore after the race.
MonochromeExplanation of Mr. T. Srinagesh, the Trainer of HARDCCORE (C. RUZAAN) regarding the poor performance of his charge that his instructions were similar in all his starts i.e., to go to the front or sit a close 2nd or 3rd and Jockey C. Ruzaan was unable to carry out his instructions as the gelding had not shown any acceleration inspite of the Jockeys urgings. The Trainer further stated that Jockey C. Ruzaan had reported that HARDCCORE was inclined to shy away from the runners on being subjected to pressure and drop back and the Jockey also opined that the use of Blinkers may improve the behaviour of the horse in future. Trainer T. Srinagesh also stated that he had no reasonable explanation to tender with regard to the geldings poor performance, noted. He was however, cautioned for the inconsistent running of his charge.

AccordionExplanation of Trainer L.D’Silva regarding the improved performance of his charge ACCORDIAN (DEEP SHANKER) the winner of this race that in the previous run i.e., in Race No. 19 his charge was slowly off losing about 1 or 2 lengths and thereafter the Jockey was forced to scrub in the initial stages of the race to make up the lost ground and in the straight was gaining ground and finished close up with the field as compared to the present start where it took a level jump, was tucked in striking position and the extra 100 metres to travel had been to his charge’s advantage as such the improved performance, was noted. He was however cautioned to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.
Air Bender(O)AIR BENDER (M. KRISHNA) took a fly jump losing about 1 or 2 lengths.
Cool SpiceJockey N. Rawal (COOL SPICE) cautioned for shifting in 100 metres after the start touching and taking the ground of CHAMATKAR (M. MARK). Jockey Rawal was further cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the straight.
