Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was questioned regarding the relative performance of his charge SEA DIAMOND (P. Sai Kumar) the winner of the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 110. The Saddle Up Cup Div. I (About) 1200 metres. Horses rated 00 to 25 (Whips not allowed) run on 26th January, 2024 wherein it ran unplaced. The trainer stated that: Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SEA DIAMOND.

Rise And ReignIt was reported after the race that RISE AND REIGN (Siddaraju.P) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu (deputizing for Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu) was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Daring FalconDARING FALCON (Surya P.) was slowly away. DARING FALCON (Surya P.) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

MacronJockey Arvind Kumar. N, the rider of MACRON was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting `in` and causing interference to LAUTERBRUNNEN (Rajesh Kumar M) on his inside passing the 400 Metres. Jockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of KALLU SAKKARE placed 2nd by the judge objected against Jockey Arvind Kumar. N, the rider of MACRON placed 1st for `In the last 100 Metres my horse was travelling well whereby the winner shifted out as such I stopped riding which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey Arvind Kumar. N, the rider of MACRON especially in the final 100 Metres of the race. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g MACRON.
Kallu SakkareJockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of KALLU SAKKARE placed 2nd by the judge objected against Jockey Arvind Kumar. N, the rider of MACRON placed 1st for `In the last 100 Metres my horse was travelling well whereby the winner shifted out as such I stopped riding which cost me a certain race”. Classic CharmCLASSIC CHARM (Darshan R.N) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.S. Ganapathy was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

ContractorJockey Surya P., the rider of CONTRACTOR was fined Rs.2,000/ for shifting `in` and causing interference to SAMACHAR (V.R.Jagadeesh), whereby it stumbled passing the 1200 Metres.

DominaJockey Shamaz Shareef replaced the indisposed Jockey Vivek on DOMINA. Jockey Shamaz Shareef, the rider of DOMINA reported that his mount was hanging out in the final 250 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

Twinkle FeetJockey Siddaraju.P, the rider of TWINKLE FEET was reprimanded for allowing his mount to drift out under the use of whip in the final 100 Metres.

JordanoJORDANO (L. Alex Rozario) bolted before arrival to the paddock, ran helter skelter crashed against the inner sand track railing and fell. On immediate examination by the Club`s Veterinary Officer it was found to have sustained multiple injuries on head, left shoulder, fore arm and died due to shock.
Star HonourSTAR HONOUR (Darshan R.N) was examined at the starting gate by the Club`s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on left hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
MagneticIt was observed that Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of MAGNETIC momentarily got unbalanced while jumping out of the starting gates. MAGNETIC (Imran Chisty) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Surprise sample was taken for analysis from b f MAGNETIC.
PuranjayaPURANJAYA (V.R.Jagadeesh) sustained superficial injury on right hind cannon.

7 (142) THE P.V.SHETTY MEMORIAL CUP

AldgateALDGATE (S. John) was slight slowly away at the start. It was observed that MAPLE LEAF (Siddaraju.P) jumped awkwardly, whereby the rider lost the left stirrup and lost control over his mount and he shifted out and caused interference to ALDGATE (S. John) on his outside approaching 1100 Metres. Again he shifted out and caused interference to the horses viz; ENGLISH BAY (Surya P.) and ALDGATE (S. John) on his outside passing the 1000 Metres. As a result of which Jockey Siddaraju.P got unbalanced on his saddle and he regained the left stirrup rounding the final bend.

As a result of which Jockey Siddaraju.P got unbalanced on his saddle and he regained the left stirrup rounding the final bend.

ENGLISH BAY (Surya P.) sustained superficial injury on right hind fetlock and pastern.

Step To DestinyJockey Shreyas Singh S replaced the indisposed Jockey Vivek on STEP TO DESTINY. STEP TO DESTINY (Shreyas Singh S) was slowly away and lost considerable ground at the start. In view of its repeated behaviour, Trainer Mr. V. Lokanath was informed not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race. Jockey Shreyas Singh S, the rider of STEP TO DESTINY was reprimanded for shifting `in` and inconveniencing MEASURE OF TIME (Salman Khan) on his inside approaching 900 Metres.
