1 (15) THE ROMANTIC ZEAL HANDICAP

Whistle BlowerWHISTLE BLOWER was slow to begin losing approximately 4 – 5 lengths at the start.
Sixty SevenSIXTY SEVEN jumped outwards from the gates. The Veterinary Officer reported that SIXTY SEVEN returned with a gum injury.

For failing to produce the declared colours in respect of his charge ch g ONE SO WONDERFUL Tr. Neil Darashah was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/. Further, the Trainer was charged a sum of Rs. 500/ for using emergency colours “ALL BLACK” on his charge ONE SO WONDERFUL. ONE SO WONDERFUL was observed to drop out of the race within a furlong after the start and trailed the field throughout, finishing the race completely detached. Tr. Neil Darashah was once again advised not to accept with his charge ONE SO WONDERFUL until it was capable of a better performance to avoid disciplinary action.

2 (17) THE KANGRA CUP
A Handicap for Horses rated 81 & ABOVE		 1600M

Sea LionAn enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockey Akshay Kumar from his mount SEA LION passing the 1400 metres. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the fall was accidental whereby SEA LION clipped the heels of SUMMER NIGHT, hence, the ‘ALL CLEAR’ signal was ordered to be hoisted. Jockey Akshay Kumar escaped unhurt. Passing the 700 metres the riderless SEA LION shifted in causing EASTWOOD and MALWA to be checked by their respective riders. The Veterinary Officer reported that SEA LION returned with right fore arm cut injury.
TigrioTIGRIO was difficult to load.

EastwoodTr. C Alford was reprimanded for the late arrival of his charge EASTWOOD to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainer was further advised to ensure that his charges arrive on time in future. Passing the 700 metres the riderless SEA LION shifted in causing EASTWOOD and MALWA to be checked by their respective riders.

3 (18) THE APERITIVO HANDICAP
A Handicap for Horses rated 61 TO 86		 1400M

SwiftCLEVER HANS jumped outwards from the gates inconveniencing SWIFT on his outside.
Jean LafetteJockey Vivek G, the rider of JEAN LAFETTE, was reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift out in the concluding stages of the race, more so under the use of the whip.
Clever HansCLEVER HANS jumped outwards from the gates inconveniencing SWIFT on his outside.
BasharatBASHARAT was slow to begin. BASHARAT was denied a clear run passing the 300 metres and had to be switched out by its rider to make his final move.
SilveritaSILVERITA was fractious to be stalled.
