Terms-3 year old maidens only(Category-II)		 1000M
VaishnaviVAISHNAVI (VIVEK) tried to run out after the start inspite of the Jockeys efforts eventually veered out while negotiating the final bend in the process tumbled resulting in Jockey Vivek being unseated and thereafter the riderless filly hit the outer railing and went onto the sand track. Jockey Vivek who was given immediate medical aid was declared medically unfit to ride for the day. The Sr. Veterinary Officer subsequently reported on 26th January, 2010 that the filly had sustained fracture of humerus and was put to sleep on humanitarian grounds.
CaladiumCALADIUM was not declared to start.
Craven Cottage (O)Explanation of Jockey P.S. Chouhan (CRAVEN COTTAGE) that his mount stumbled soon after the start for no apparent reason and thereafter the filly failed to raise accelerate inspite of his urgings,, noted. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that CRAVEN COTTAGE (P.S. CHOUHAN) was trotting lame.
Striking GoldJockey N. Rawal (STRIKING GOLD) reported that his mount was running green.
Mighty PowerJockey D.M.Fentiman (MIGHTY POWER) reported that his mount tried to run out soon after the start and thereafter trailed throughout the race inspite of his best efforts. Trainer L.D’Silva was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

YakshaganaYAKSHAGANA (R. PARMOD) drifted out in the final stages of the race inspite of the Jockeys efforts. Trainer Anupam Sharma was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.
Celestina(O)CELESTINA (P.S. CHOUHAN) returned bleeding from both the nostrils after the race
Seno RitaChange of rider permitted from Jockey Vivek to App. A. Ashhad Asbar on SENO RITA. App. A. Ashhad Asbar (SENO RITA) cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race.
Crown CastleJockey S. Shoban Babu (CROWN CASTLE) cautioned to exercise greater control over his mounts while negotiating the final bend in that he shifted out in the process forcing out SENO RITA (APP. A. ASHHAD ASBAR).
Fortune Art(O)FORTUNE ART (LAXMAN) and ANANDIL (STEPHEN CARSON) trailed the field throughout the race.

Mr DonExplanation of Trainer D. Netto regarding the inconsistent running of his charge MR DON (SAMUEL FARGEAT) the winner of this race that his charge in his previous run i.e. Race No. 159 was forced to be scrubbed in the initial stages of the race in order to go to the front as instructed and in the straight was there in contention until the 200 metres and thereafter the gelding was denied of a clear passage as the horses racing on either side were inclined to lean onto him in contrast to the present engagement where the gelding could easily go to the front and set his own pace and superior Jockey in the saddle could able to extricate the optimum out of the gelding and just managed to win, noted. Trainer D. Netto was however cautioned to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.
Scorching AffairApp. P. Venkat (SCORCHING AFFAIR) severely reprimanded for shifting in at about the 1200 metres hampering the running of MANY THANKS (B. SHANKER).
Al JameelAL JAMEEL (DEEP SHANKER) was slow into stride losing about 2 to 3 lengths.
