True Storyb f TRUE STORY (C S Jodha) refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

Roman RidgesThe Veterinary Officer reported that ROMAN RIDGES returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. H S Bath was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Diamond CreekApproaching the 800 metres DIAMOND CREEK (Hindu Singh) travelling on the outside of BULLDOZER (App Nikhil Naidu) and GLAMOUROUS GLORY (Md Islam) which was positioned along the rails were inconvenienced when BULLDOZER shifted ‘outwards’ and ‘inwards’ for no apparent reason. At a subsequent enquiry App Nikhil Naidu was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. Further, App Nikhil Naidu was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/ for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).

2 (74) THE CHEVIOT HANDICAP (DIV-II)

Mrs Willy Nillyb f MRS WILLY NILLY, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Tuesday, 26th December, 2017 and found to be suffering from Pyrexia (fever). Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. H S Bath was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Major ColoursApproaching the distance post MAJOR COLOURS (App P Vikram) and MILFORD SOUND (Hindu Singh) were inconvenienced when ROYAL ONE (Sk Zaffar Riaz) shifted ‘outwards’ when placed under pressure with the whip. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Sk Zaffar Riaz was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
JorellJORELL (Md Imran) was slow to begin thereby losing a couple of lengths at the start. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
Milford SoundMILFORD SOUND (Hindu Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

RustlerThe Veterinary Officer reported that RUSTLER returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Javed Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
City HeightsCITY HEIGHTS (App P Tejeshwar) fly jumped out from the gates.
Shy BelleSHY BELLE (Shrikant Kamble) and SWEET MUSIC (App R S Bhati) were slow to begin.
Running HandRUNNING HAND (Hindu Singh) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr. J E Mckeown was advised to ensure that his charge arrives on time in future.
The Big BullTHE BIG BULL (Md Imran) which was slow to begin losing approximately four to five lengths at the start finished off the race detached from the field. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Romantic SocietyROMANTIC SOCIETY (Md Azharuddin) was slow to begin.
Uptown GirlUPTOWN GIRL (Vinay Jaiswal) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin. An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of dk b m UPTOWN GIRL (Vinay Jaiswal) and b m ROMANTIC SOCIETY (Md Azharuddin) passing the 800 metres. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the fall was accidental in that UPTOWN GIRL travelling on the outside of the field inexplicably shied ‘inwards’ thereby unbalancing its Jockey who parted company with the mare. Thereafter UPTOWN GIRL shifted further ‘inwards’ onto POWER OF FREEDOM (Ranidan Singh) travelling along the rails which had to be checked by its Jockey. In this incident ROMANTIC SOCIETY (Md Azharuddin) travelling behind ran into the heels of POWER OF FREEDOM and fell. As no blame could be attached to any Jockey the ‘All Clear’ signal was ordered to be hoisted. Both the fallen Jockeys were shifted to hospital for medical management. On veterinary examination b m ROMANTIC SOCIETY was found to be lame on left fore. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
EternallyETERNALLY (P Trevor) was fractious in its stall.

8 (80) THE MYALL KING HANDICAP
A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26		 1600M

Antaresb f ANTARES (Bal Ramandeep) was extremely fractious in its stall and fell. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
Grand ForestAs Jockey Vinay Jaiswal was declared medically unfit to rider after the 7th Race, Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was permitted to substitute Jockey Jugnu Gurung to ride his charge GRAND FOREST. b g GRAND FOREST (Jugnu Gurung, drawn 12) stalled along side ANTARES (drawn 11) sustained a cut injury on its left hock and bruises on lower incisor teeth when ANTARES turned fractious. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Adriatic SeaADRIATIC SEA (B Mahesh, drawn 5) and AQUATICAA (Russell Xaviers, drawn 6) were inconvenienced when TRUE GENIUS (App Sujit Kr. Paswan, drawn 8) shifted ‘inwards’ sharply soon after the start. At a subsequent enquiry App Sujit Kr Paswan was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Zara Go ZaraZARA GO ZARA (App P Vikram) was fractious in its stall.
ThisyearsloveTHISYEARSLOVE (Shrikant Kamble) ran detached from the field. On immediate veterinary examination the filly was found to have bled from both nostrils. Tr. Aashay Doctor was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
