RoopmantraJockey Akash Rajput (ROOPMANTRA) on questioning stated that he was instructed to be in 3rd/4th position and do his best in the straight. He added that on the previous run, the mare had gone to the front and had fizzled out, therefore, on this occasion, he was instructed to restrain his mount to ensure that he positions his mount in 3rd/4th position. He added that he had followed the instructions. The explanation was noted.
UdaanOn questioning Jockey Irfan Ali about the handling of UDAAN, he explained that after receiving the interference at the start, he let his mount run on its own and then luggedout while negotiating the bend. Trainer Ajay Sharma has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.
NeverloosethehopeAt the start, NEVERLOOSETHEHOPE (Sameer Qureshi) shifted in and went across UDAAN (Irfan Ali) causing interference to the latter. Jockey Sameer Qureshi has been fined Rs.1000/.
Ashwa TejasviJockey M Chettri (ASHWA TEJASVI) has been fined Rs. 5000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (2nd offence). The veterinary examination of ASHWA TEJASVI did not reveal any apparent abnormality.
VeerJockey Preveen Saini (VEER) has been reprimanded for shifting in before the Red Marker and then near 1000 metres, shifted in and inconvenienced DIM DIM (Sandeep Rajput) who in turn inconvenienced FLORI DI CAMA (Nazim).

2 (223) THE SMOOTH OPERATION PLATE (DIV-I)

Mountain GunnerAfter being loaded, MOUNTAIN GUNNER (Akash Rajput) put its head down which necessitated opening of the front gate whereby the horse ran loose, breaking the front barrier and bolted away, as such, it was withdrawn before coming under starter’s order. A deduction of 10% on win and 30% on place bets was effected in view of the withdrawal of MOUNTAIN GUNNER.
Mr SinghJockey Sandeep Rajput (MR SINGH) has been asked to ride out his mount till past the Post.
FlemencoAt the start, FLEMENCO (Gurpreet Singh) jumped out awkwardly outwards due to which its Rider lost his balance momentarily and went on to TOP KING (J Chinoy) who in turn went out on to BLACK SWAN (Dhanu S Deora). As TOP KING was corrected, the gelding shifted in and made contact with FLEMENCO. The veterinary examination of FLEMENCO did not reveal any apparent abnormality.
Ashwa SaangaJockey M Chettri (ASHWA SAANGA) explained that at the start his mount was inclined to run out, being a one eyed horse. Whilst noting his explanation, Jockey M Chettri has been reprimanded for the inept handling on his mount.

Ashwa BahulaAt the start, ASHWA BAHULA (M Chettri) brushed the Gates due to which the rider lost his balance and by the time the Rider regained it, ASHWA BAHULA had lost considerable ground. ASHWA BAHULA (M Chettri) leanedin in the straight, Trainer I S Parmar has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.
ArtaxiasAs the start was effected, ARTAXIAS (Irfan Ali) ducked and the Rider was unbalanced.
Master MadridThe veterinary examination of MASTER MADRID did not reveal any apparent abnormality.

Trainer Magan Singh was asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.
