1 (68) THE GOLDEN EDITION PLATE (DIV-II)
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 1400M

HermosaAt the request of Trainer Hosidar Daji, TIME OF MY LIFE was examined at 0720 hours on 27/08/2016 and was found to have fever. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
MariskaPassing 500 metres, MARISKA (P. Trevor) was hampered for room and had to be checked.Passing 400 metres, MARISKA (P. Trevor) shifted out and at the same time RAIN DANCE (S. Zervan) shifted in, due to which IMPERIAL PRINCESS (R. Shelar) who was racing between them, had to be checked. An enquiry has been initiated into the riding of Jockey P. Trevor on MARISKA and a report will be submitted shortly. After the race, MARISKA, BRAZOS, AEOLUS MAXIMUS and RAIN DANCE were trotted and found to be sound. AEOLUS MAXIMUS had an abrasion at the right fore fetlock joint.
Rain DanceAfter the race, Jockey S. Zervan (RAIN DANCE) reported that his mount hung in. Since the filly had broken a blood vessel, no action was initiated in the matter. After the race, RAIN DANCE was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
BrazosAfter the race, Jockey A. Sandesh (BRAZOS) reported that his mount hungin in the straight. Trainer M. K. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Aeolus MaximusAfter the race, Jockey Dashrath Singh (AEOLUS MAXIMUS) reported that his mount did not respond to his urgings throughout the race.

2 (69) THE JUVENTUS PLATE

Few Dollars MoreOn questioning after the race, Jockey A. Sandesh (FEW DOLLARS MORE) stated that his mount hungin in the straight. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly. After the race, FEW DOLLARS MORE was trotted and found to be sound but having an abrasion at the left hind fetlock joint.
VixenAfter the race, Jockey J. Chinoy (VIXEN) reported that his mount had jumped out brushing the Gates, as a result his leg had shifted forward in his stirrups and he had adjusted the same during the race.

3 (70) THE HER MAJESTY TROPHY

Phenomenal MemoryPassing 400 metres, PHENOMENAL MEMORY (S. Zervan) shifted in thereby inconveniencing THE MINISTERIAN (David Breux) who shifted out and bumped RODEO (C. S. Jodha), who in turn went on to CAESARS STAR (App. S. A. Amit) and HEATHER (P. S. Chouhan). Jockey S. Zervan has been cautioned.
HeatherPassing 200 metres, HEATHER (P. S. Chouhan) shifted in under pressure thereby inconveniencing CAESARS STAR (App.S. A. Amit). After the race, HEATHER was trotted and found to be sound.

4 (71) THE WAR COMMAND PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 1 TO 26		 1200M
3.00 P.M.
JaramaAt the start, JARAMA (J. Chinoy, dr. 12) shifted in and made contact with STARRY IMAGE (A. Sandesh, dr. 11).
Majestic HoneyAt the start, MAJESTIC HONEY (T. S. Jodha, dr. 6) jumped out slow, losing about 2 lengths.
WhitesoxAfter the race, WHITESOX was observed to have an abrasion at the right hind coronet, LEOTHEFIERCEHORSE had a cut injury at the left fore cannon and SHIVALIK SKIES had lost her right hind plate. SHIVALIK SKIES and SYNCHRONICITY (examined on 28/08/2016) were trotted and found to be sound.

5 (72) THE DR K VASUDEVAN TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66		 1600M
3.30 P.M.
JeannineAfter the race, JEANNINE, MULTIGLORY and MAGIC IN THE AIR were trotted and found to be sound. MULTIGLORY had an injury in the right nostril.

6 (73) THE MARIINSKY PLATE (DIV-I)
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1000M
4.00 P.M.
Arc Of PassionOn arrival at the start, ARC LIGHT (Amyn Merchant) was examined by the Club’s V.O. and found to have sustained a cut injury on the right fore coronet, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. The trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting with her to race.
Abu Al BukhooshSoon after the start, ABU AL BUKHOOSH (C. S. Jodha) shifted out and went across CHARIOTT OF FIRE (R. Shelar), who had to be steadied. ABU AL BUKHOOSH (C. S. Jodha) further shifted out and at the same time MOTHERLAND (Yash Narredu) shifted in, due to which FIREBOLT (Neeraj Rawal), was tightened for room. After the race, ABU AL BUKHOOSH, SPORTING SPIRIT and MOTHERLAND were trotted and found to be sound.
Sporting Spirit (O)SPORTING SPIRIT (P. Trevor) was reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
JulianoAt the start, JULIANO (R. Ajinkya, dr.2) jumped outwards and made contact with ABU AL BUKHOOSH (C. S. Jodha, dr.3). Passing 600 metres, JULIANO (R. Ajinkya) shifted out on the haunches of SPORTING SPIRIT (P. Trevor) thereby inconveniencing itself.
Princess AthenaAfter the race, PRINCESS ATHENA was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Chariott Of FireAfter the race, CHARIOTT OF FIRE was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

7 (74) THE MARIINSKY PLATE (DIV-II)
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1000M

CaptainIn the last 50 metres, CAPTAIN (C. S. Jodha) shifted in on to POETS SONG (Akshay). On questioning, Jockey C. S. Jodha stated that his mount had hung in despite his efforts. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Poets SongAn objection was lodged by Jockey Akshay, rider of POETS SONG (Placed Second) against CAPTAIN (C. S. Jodha, Placed First). The reason being, in the last 50 metres, CAPTAIN came on to him and bumped him due to which his filly lost ground and this cost him a certain race. At the start, POETS SONG (Akshay, dr.7) jumped outwards and made contact with CRYSTAL BALL (Bhawani Singh, dr. 9), who in turn went on to TIP TOP TAFFY (D. S. Daman, dr.10).After the race, POETS SONG was trotted and found to be sound. HUNAYN had lost its left fore plate.
HeadlinesApproaching 800 metres, HEADLINES (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out on to CRISTO BOSS (Shrikant Kamble), inconveniencing the latter.

8 (75) THE GOLDEN EDITION PLATE (DIV-I)

Desert CatAt the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, RAASCALLA was examined at 0740 hours on 26/08/2016 and was found to be sore by the right hind leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
SochiSOCHI (App. Parbat Singh) played up and hooked one of its fore legs in the adjoining stall. The gelding was taken out and withdrawn from the race before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Pierce ArrowPassing 300 metres, PIERCE ARROW (D. S. Daman) shifted in thereby inconveniencing LORD GRANTHAM (P. S. Chouhan).
Lord GranthamAfter the race, LORD GRANTHAM and LADISLAUS (examined on 28/08/2016) were trotted and found to be sound.
Glorious HymnPassing the Red Marker, GLORIOUS HYMN (J. Chinoy) had to be steadied due to a tightly packed field.

9 (76) THE SEA RULER PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46 - (4 years old only)		 1200M

Paris CallingApproaching 100 metres, CICITALIA (P. Trevor) shifted out onto ALIBOXER (App. S. A. Amit) who was forced to shift out and in doing so went on to BULLDOZER (C. S. Jodha) forcing the latter outwards on to GODSENT (Kavraj Singh), due to which SWARAJ (Neeraj Rawal) who was racing on its haunches, was inconvenienced. Jockey P. Trevor has been fined Rs.3,000/.
BulldozerPassing 200 metres, BULLDOZER (C. S. Jodha) shifted out on to QUEEN THEA (C. Umesh) who had to be checked. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been fined Rs.3,000/. After the race, BULLDOZER was observed to have an abrasion at the right hind fetlock joint. CICITALIA was found to be sound.
AliboxerApp. S. A. Amit (ALIBOXER) reported the loss of his whip passing the 200 metres.
GodsentAt the start, GODSENT (Kavraj Singh, dr.1), WAY AHEAD (A. Sandesh, dr.2), TOUGH ENOUGH (N. B. Kuldeep, dr.3) and ALIEN (App. K. Nazil, dr.4) were observed to have jostled.
Silver GhostApproaching 1000 metres, SILVER GHOST (App. H. Zeeshan) was observed to have maintained an erratic course thereby inconveniencing SWARAJ (Neeraj Rawal).
Forever YoursTrainer Subhag Singh has been fined Rs.1,000/ for bringing his charge FOREVER YOURS in the paddock without a Tongue Strap, a declared equipment on the filly. The Tongue Strap was put on before the filly left the paddock. At the start, FOREVER YOURS (Bhawani Singh, dr.11) jumped outwards thereby inconveniencing SWARAJ (Neeraj Rawal, dr.12) and MISS SAIGON (J. Chinoy, dr.13).
Blazing StepsSoon after the start, BLAZING STEPS (Akshay Gaikwad, dr.6) shifted in and went across TOUGH ENOUGH (N. B. Kuldeep, dr.3) causing the latter to stumble. Thereafter, BLAZING STEPS further shifted in and bumped WAY AHEAD (A. Sandesh, dr.2). Jockey Akshay Gaikwad has been suspended for 11th September, 2016 (permitted to ride work/mock race). Further, he has been referred to the Riding Instructor to improve his ridding skills.
