ArtegalJockey Ch K Chary, the rider of ARTEGAL (drawn 3) which was positioned along with the back markers of the field in the early and middle stages of the race, reported that his mount was squeezed for room soon after the start when CELERINO, (App Munna Alam, drawn 2) shifted ‘outwards’. The Stipendiary Stewards after interviewing App Munna Alam, Jockey Arman Khan (SINGULARITY, drawn 1) and Jockey Ch K Chary and viewing the CCTV replay of the race found no reason for Jockey Chary to make such statement. On questioning Tr. R V Gowli stated that he had no idea as to why the jockey had made such a statement as it appears not to be the case. After due deliberation the Stipendiary Stewards decided not to take any further action, however, informed the trainer to ensure that in future horses under his charge are ridden in such manner that leaves no room for query and Jockey Chary was reprimanded for making statements which he was unable to substantiate.
SingularitySINGULARITY (Arman Khan) was fractious while being stalled. The Veterinary Officer reported that SINGULARITY returned with a cut injury on right hind.
A Naughty BoyA NAUGHTY BOY (App Ranidan Singh) which was extremely fractious while being stalled was slow to begin. In view of its behaviour Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. A NAUGHTY BOY (App Ranidan Singh) and NELSON (Afzal Khan) ran detached from the field. Trs. Rutherford Alford and Shafiq Khan were advised not to accept with their respective charges until they were capable of a better performance.

Simply RoyaleSIMPLY ROYALE (C Alford) and HIBIKI (P Trevor) were fractious while being stalled. Jockey C Alford, the rider of SIMPLY ROYALE, when afforded an opportunity to explain the poor performance of his mount stated that he was well positioned in the race, however, on passing the distance post the gelding shortened its strides in spite of his urgings. The gelding was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination no ailment was noticed. Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was advised to keep her charge under observation and report ailment, if any.

Apical Finalab g APICAL FINALA was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
AdamantiumFor presenting his charge gr g ADAMANTIUM without ‘Blinkers’ in the parade ring, Tr. Vinay Lagad was fined Rs. 1,000/. Subsequently the blinkers were put on.
I Me N MyselfI ME N MYSELF (Jugnu Gurung) and ADAMANTIUM (App N B Kuldeep) were slow to begin. Jockey A Ashhad Asbar, the rider of STUDIOFIFTYFOUR travelling along the rails, reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ while negotiating the bend and as such he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and report ailment, if any, as soon as practicable.

Amicus Curiaeb f AMICUS CURIAE (J Chinoy) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Narendra Lagad was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Arctic ConvoyJockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ARCTIC CONVOY, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for failing to maintain a straight course during the final 200 metres of the race thereby inconveniencing MY LADY LUCK (C Alford) making progress first along the rails and thereafter on his outside.
StephanieSTEPHANIE (Dashrath Singh) was fractious while being stalled.
Indus PrinceJockey A Ashhad Asbar, the rider of INDUS PRINCE, was fined a sum of Rs. 500/ for presenting himself late to the Clerk of the Scales to be ‘weighedout’. INDUS PRINCE (A Ashhad Asbar) was fractious in its stall.
