2 (18) THE ELUSIVE HERO PLATE

BourbonBOURBON (P. Ajeeth Kumar) whilst travelling in the front suddenly lost the footing and fell down passing the 400 mtrs. resulting in Jockey being dislodged from the mount. Since, the incident being purely accidental, no action beyond noting the same was taken. The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid was declared medically unfit to ride for the remaining races of the day and was shifted to the Hospital. Subsequent Veterinary examination of BOURBON revealed that the colt sustained complete open fracture of right fore.
Indian GloryINDIAN GLORY (Md. Ismail) sustained clipped injury over left hind. However, the colt was trotting sound after the race.
Allah RakhiExplanation of Jockey Ajit Singh (ALLAH RAKHI) that his mount threw her head up as the start was effected thereby losing 1 or 2 lengths, noted.
