Styledk b f STYLE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Tuesday, 29th August, 2017 and found to have a swelling on the left fore. Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. J E Mckeown was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Carpe NoctemCARPE NOCTEM (App Nikhil Naidu) and GLAMOUROUS GLORY (S Lalit) made contact with each other on occasions passing the distance post. At a subsequent enquiry App Nikhil Naidu was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
AhlanAHLAN (App Ranidan Singh) was slow to begin.
Happy ReturnsHAPPY RETURNS (Kishore Kadam) fly jumped out from the gates.
Milford SoundMILFORD SOUND (Afzal Khan) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

ApercusAPERCUS (App Rupal Singh) finished off the race detached from the field. Tr. Raunak Banerji was informed not to accept with the colt unless capable of a better performance.

7 (69) THE ANNIHILATOR HANDICAP

RamessesOn being informed by the Trainer, ch g RAMESSES, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer in the saddling enclosure and was found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with the gelding until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. He was further informed that in future he must inform the Veterinary Officer of any ailment on an acceptor of his, immediately on noticing the same failing which he would be liable for action as deemed fit.
AscendApp Nikhil Naidu, the rider of ASCEND, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for shifting ‘inwards’ for no apparent reason and causing inconvenience to EL MAGNIFICO (App Rupal Singh) making progress on the rail side passing the distance post.
Land Of GloryJockey Sk Israil, the rider of LAND OF GLORY, was severely reprimanded for the tender handling of his mount throughout the race.
