Ela HarikaPermission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw ELA HARIKA (R N Darshan) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from colic; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
One Of A KindTrainer Mr. Rakesh was questioned as to the relative performance of his charge, of ONE OF A KIND (S Antony Raj), the winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.31 of the Mysore Winter Races 201819, i.e., The Common Grounds Plate – Div. I (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 00 to 25, run on Fifth Day, Wednesday, 19th December, 2018, when ridden by Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) This horse had a set back after its run during the Mysore Races 2018. It had suffered a fracture of the Jaw; b) After surgery and rest he had systematically prepared it by giving it 6 to 7 fast work and couple of Gate jump outs; c) Despite its condition, it ran a decent race in its previous run; d) Last time was the first run during this meeting after the Mysore Races 2018 i.e., after a gap of about 40 days; e) After that run and a few good gate jump outs, he had fancied its chances in this set; f) He had instructed the rider to take a good jump, give it couple of cracks, take a forward position; g) He did not show early speed and so was positioned 5th or so, gradually improved position and the horse just about won the Race; His explanation was noted.
Surprise PackagePermission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath to substitute Jockey Ramandeep S Bal to ride SURPRISE PACKAGE in place of Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider.
Flaming SpearFLAMING SPEAR (H M Akshay) sustained clipped injury on right fore inside bulb of heel.

Everlasting MemoryJockey Irvan Singh, the rider of EVERLASTING MEMORY, was fined Rs.1,000/ for drifting `out` under the use of the whip in the closing stages of the Race. EVERLASTING MEMORY (Irvan Singh) sustained injury inside right nostril.
Spinning ChakramJockey Sameer Qureshi, the rider of SPINNING CHAKRAM, was fined Rs.2,000/ for not observing the postrace Paddock formalities. Jockey Sameer Qureshi, the rider of SPINNING CHAKRAM, reported that his mount was hanging `in` after entering the straight; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Flash TimePermission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey R N Darshan to ride FLASH TIME in place of Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider.

3 (80) THE CHITRADURGA PLATE (DIV-II)

King StarPermission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to withdraw KING STAR (M Madhu Babu) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be suffering from acute elbow inflammation on right fore limb; He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
BerlinJockey P P Dhebe, the rider of BERLIN, reported that his mount was hanging `out` from the 800 Metres till about the Winning Post; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. M Eshwer was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
The ImposterAn enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey Anil Baandal on his mount, THE IMPOSTER, in the above Race.
Royal CommandIt was reported after the Race that on examination of the mouth of the horse, ROYAL COMMAND (R Manish), it was reported to have sharp molars; Hence, Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was fined Rs.3,000/ for his negligence [first infringement].
Only HopeONLY HOPE (M J Gautam Raj Urs) jumped awkwardly `outwards`, at the start. Jockey M J Gautam Raj Urs, the rider of ONLY HOPE, reported that his mount was hanging `out` throughout the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality reported; However, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

4 (82) THE M.GOVINDAPPA MEMORIAL TROPHY

CrescendoPermission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey M Prabhakaran to ride CRESCENDO in place of Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider.

March To VictoryAn enquiry is being held into the relative performance of MARCH TO VICTORY (Mukesh Kumar), trained by Mr. M Bobby, the winner of this Race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 28 of the Mysore Winter Races 201819, i.e., The Fame and Glory Plate – Div I, (About) 1100 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, when ridden by the same rider, it ran unplaced.
