It has been our endeavour to provide top quality service at minimum, affordable cost to all our patrons. With this in mind, we kept the annual subscription at a minimum. Our intention was to subsidize the cost of subscription through revenue generated from advertisement. However, with the increasing costs and uncertainty about advertisement, we are forced to increase the cost of subscription in order to make running the website viable.

Our intention has always been to get enough revenue to keep the site going and at the same time provide qualitative improvement in the service provided to our patrons. The cost of maintenance of the website is going up every year without corresponding increase in revenue. We were absorbing the service component in the subscription money itself. However, regretfully, we are forced to increase our subscription charges without which we will face the prospect of having to shut down. We cover racing held all over India and the number of race days exceed 260 days. As such, our costs are less than Rs 20 per race day.

We hope our long time subscribers understand our predicament. Unlike other racing centres of the world, very little money is realised through advertisement from the players involved in the sport. The support from the industry is very little barring a few patrons who have been supportive of our venture and are giving advertisement on a consistent basis. Without their support, we would not have lasted this long.

Under the circumstances, we are constrained to increase our subscription from February 10 as follows: Rs 4580 for half year and Rs 5725 for one year which is inclusive of 14.5 service tax.
