The FlutistSoon after the start, THE FLUTIST (App. N. Bhosale) shifted out and carried NORTHBOUND (R. Ajinkya) outwards. App. N. Bhosale has been cautioned. Soon after the start, it was observed that the blind fold used on THE FLUTIST (App. N. Bhosale) was lodged on the Jockeys arm and fell thereafter. App. N. Bhosale (THE FLUTIST) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 1st offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.3,000/. Also the Jockey has been cautioned for having persisted with the whip on the right despite his mount shifting out in the straight. After the race, THE FLUTIST was observed to have lost its right fore shoe. TOOFAAN was observed to have an injury on left hind & right fore bulb of heel.
NorthboundSoon after the start, THE FLUTIST (App. N. Bhosale) shifted out and carried NORTHBOUND (R. Ajinkya) outwards. App. N. Bhosale has been cautioned.
MariellaMARIELLA (A. Prakash, dr.5) threw her head up as the start was affected thereby losing about two lengths at the start. After the race, Jockey A. Prakash reported that he was not ready whilst the start was affected. Having viewed the video recording of the install camera of the start, the starter has been asked to be more observing in the future.
ToofaanAfter the race, THE FLUTIST was observed to have lost its right fore shoe. TOOFAAN was observed to have an injury on left hind & right fore bulb of heel.
Away She GoesAfter the race, AWAY SHE GOES was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by left fore. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

CharlieAt the start, RAMBLER (K. G. Likith Appu, dr.1) jumped outwards and made contact with CHARLIE (Bhawani Singh, dr.2) who had to be steadied.
RamblerAt the start, RAMBLER (K. G. Likith Appu, dr.1) jumped outwards and made contact with CHARLIE (Bhawani Singh, dr.2) who had to be steadied. Soon after the start, it was observed that the Nose Band used on RAMBLER (K. G. Likith Appu) got displaced. On inspection, the equipment was found to be in good condition, thereafter, after the race on questioning, Jockey K. G. Likith Appu stated that his mount was fractious inside the stalls due to which the Nose band may have got loose. Having viewed the video recording of the install camera, the explanation was noted and no action was initiated. After the race, RAMBLER was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
Singer SargentSINGER SARGENT (A. Sandesh, dr.4) lost about five lengths at the start. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Ajinkya) causing the latter to collide with the rails and be checked. An objection was lodged by Jockey Vivek G., the rider of MATISSE (Placed 2nd) by the Judge against Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of AMONG THE STARS (Placed 1st) by the Judge. The reason stated was, in the last 150/100 metres, Jockey Vivek G. did not have any room to gallop and had to stop riding. He further added that it was the first run of his horse and the second run of the winner. If he had not got checked, he would have won comfortably. MATISSE FIRST; MERLET THIRD;
