2	(156)	SIGNATURE - SUCCESS IS GOOD FUN TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46	1600M

Fantasy Lake	Jockey Daniel M. Grant (FANTASY LAKE) has been fined Rs. 3000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
Kempinski	Jockey Y.S.Srinath who had accepted two mounts on this day i.e. KEMPINSKI in the second race and RADIATING in the fifth race, both the horses being handicapped at 53.5 kgs., arrived late at the weighing room. Further, he informed that he did not have enough time to reduce his weight and would possibly have to carry about 3 kgs. overweight. However, Mr.Narendra Lagad, Trainer of KEMPINSKI and Mr.Magansingh P.Jodha, Trainer of RADIATING, both did not wish their rider to carry overweight and hence a change of rider was permitted on both the horses. The Stewards interviewed Jockey Y.S.Srinath in the above connection and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by him, resolved to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/ for his very casual attitude in accepting rides at handicap weight which he was aware he would not be able to do and thereafter failing to fulfill his riding engagements. Further, he was warned that on a repetition of a similar offence, severe action would be initiated against him.
Saarah	At the start, SAARAH (App A.M. Tograllu) shifted out and jostled with FANTASY LAKE (Daniel M Grant). App A.M. Tograllu has been fined Rs.1000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

3	(157)	ZINZI - FIND ANY REASON TROPHY TERMS - 3 years maidens only	1600M

Desert Safari	At the request of Tr.Mansoor Shah, DESERT SAFARI was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. at 1140 hours on the race day (02/02/2008) and found to be sore by the right hind, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Congrats	CONGRATS (C.D.Hayes) was inclined to lug out in the straight. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Star Adventure	After the race, STAR ADVENTURE was observed to be sore by her right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

4	(158)	BLACK DOG 12 YEAR OLD DELUXE TROPHY A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE	1000M

Oyster Pearl	Passing the 200 metres, OYSTER PEARL (Nirmal Jodha) hung out briefly despite Jockey’s efforts Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Schubert	Soon after the start THE RISING (P.S.Chouhan) shifted out and inconvenienced KING’S DESIRE (K.P.G.Appu) and travelling some distance further SHYBOY (App.Riyaz Shaikh) was inconvenienced when SCHUBERT (C,Rajendra) shifted in. Jockeys P.S.Chouhan and C Rajendra have been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over their respective mounts. After the race, SCHUBERT was observed to have an abrasion on both his hocks.
Pampered Princess	Traveling some distance further, PAMPERED PRINCESS (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and inconvenienced OYSTER PEARL (Nirmal Jodha) who in turn inconvenienced SHYBOY (App.Riyaz Shaikh) on his inside. Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

War Of Attrition(O)	WAR OF ATTRITION (Daniel M Grant, dr.4) jumped out awkwardly towards the outside and went on to PONYTA (Riyaz Shaikh, dr. 5) and at the same time TERRE BLANCHE (M Narredu) shifted out and went on to WAR OF ATTRITION who shifted out and further inconvenienced PONYTA. Jockey M narredu has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Walking Tall	Near 900 meters, WALKING TALL (P.S. Chouhan) shifted in and caused interference to ALGO MAS (Neeraj Rawal). Jockey P.S. Chouhan has been fined Rs.2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Salandra	Jockey Aadesh Kumar was declared to ride on two horses, SALANDRA & GAME OF TALENT, by Trainers Narendra Lagad and Nana Raghunath respectively. After enquiring, Jockey Aadesh Kumar was found at fault and hence he has been fined Rs.1000/ for accepting two rides in the same race.
Present Glory	After the race, PRESENT GLORY was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Glorious Knight	DANCE MAESTRO (T.S.Jodha) was held up for run in the final stages of the race and in the process hampered the running of STAR OF CHINA (Samuel Fargeat) on his inside.

Premier Queen	PREMIER QUEEN (M.Narredu, dr.5) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and at the same time FRONTIER MAIL (App.D.K.Ashish, dr. 3) jumped out awkwardly towards the outside, whereby PERFECTION (R.Shelar, dr. 4) was squeezed out. At that stage, SOLSKJAER (Anil Baandal, dr 7) was observed to have shifted in and forced VICEROY (L Prashant, dr.6) to shift in on PREMIER QUEEN (M Narredu, dr.5) who in turn shifted in and jostled with FRONTIER MAIL (App D.K. Ashish). Jockey Anil Baandal has been reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Sangoma	Soon after the start, SANGOMA (C.D.Hayes, dr.2) shifted in and hampered the running of FIREY FUTURE (App.A.M.Tograllu, dr.1). Jockey C.D. Hayes has been fined 1000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. Jockey C.D.Hayes was questioned regarding the running and riding of his mount SANGOMA. He said that he was instructed to settle his mount and to ride his own race. He added that his horse was hanging in after jumping out and in turn caused interference to FIREY FUTURE who was on his inside. Further, in the process of settling his mount, the horse on his outside shifted in and took his ground hence he was forced to drop back to last position and entering the straight he had to pull his mount out as there was no room in front of him. It was put to him that after 150 mts from the start, he should have improved his position and if he had done so, he would not have received the interference to which he stated that after travelling the said distance, he was well settled along the rails and could have moved comfortably if he had not received the interference. Trainer P.Shroff said that the Jockey had met with interference soon after the start and thereafter he had ridden out the horse and he took no exception to the Jockey’s riding. The explanation tendered by the Trainer and Jockey was noted.
Perfection(04)	Jockey R.Shelar (PERFECTION) was observed to have eased up before passing the winning post. He has been warned to ride out his mounts past the post in future.
Elementto Trance	Travelling some distance further, CINDERELLA MAN (Amyn Merchant) shifted in and hampered the running of SANGOMA (C.D.Hayes) who lost his position. Jockey Amyn Merchant has been fined 2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

Set Alight

An objection was lodged by Jockey C.Rajendra, the rider of SET ALIGHT ( pl.2nd), against Jockey R.Hughes, rider of AUTONOMY (placed 1st) for taking his ground at one and a half furlong from the winning post, and pushing him inside and closing his gap due to which he lost a certain race. The Stewards interviewed the jockeys concerned and reviewed the video recording of the race (all the angles). Having considered the submissions made in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and having deliberated the matter, the Stewards decided to uphold the Objection and to revise the order of placing as under : SET ALIGHT FIRST AUTONOMY SECOND PALAZZIO’S SUN THIRD STAR WAVE FOURTH

Thundering Hooves

THUNDERING HOOVES (Daniel M.Grant) was placed fifth and TROMOS (Nirmal Jodha) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

Cocaine	Jockey K.P.G. Appu (COCAINE) reported that from the 300 meters till in the final stages of the race he did not get a clear opening to ride out his mount.
Bravo Italiano	After being loaded, ARTILLERY (Amyn Merchant) was restless and kept rearing up in the stall. Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and to show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Kai	Approaching 600 meters, KAI (C.D. Hayes) was tightened for room and dropped back.
Nuncio	At the start, NUNCIO (Vikram Jodha, dr.9) shifted in and went on to SUDARSHAN CHAKRAM (C Ruzaan, dr. 8) who went on to ALASKAN ZONE (App D.K. Ashish, dr. 7) who in turn went in on to UPROAR (R Shelar, dr. 6) who was also inconvenienced when DESERT SKY (S.N. Chavan, dr.4) shifted out. Jockey Vikram Jodha has been has been reprimanded for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
Reigning Sky	Approaching 200 meters, REIGNING SKY (Aadesh Kumar) stumbled and fell and in the process MAVERICK (Neeraj Rawal) was hampered for run. The Sr.V.O. reported that REIGNING SKY broke down near 200 metres. Examination of the gelding revealed fracture of the right shoulder. As the condition was irrepairable, the gelding was euthanised on humane grounds.
