VaaniPermission was granted to Trainer Jasbir Singh to withdraw b f VAANI from the race as it was found to be suffering from an infected painful capped elbow on left fore. He was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Sr. Vet Officer.
IjlalJockey Shezad Khan the rider of IJLAL reported loss of whip approaching the winning post.
Zip Zap ZoomZIP ZAP ZOOM (Afzal Khan) was carried wide by BALLANTYNE (Melvyn Maseyk) passing the 400 metre marker.
PythagorasApprentice Ankit Kumar, the rider of PYTHAGORAS travelling along the rails was reprimanded for changing course outwards approaching the 700 mtr. marker for no apparent reason.
Emerald Queen(0)EMERALD QUEEN(Kishore Kadam) was slow to begin losing considerable ground at the start. Trainer D Karki was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.
Cognac DancerJockey Russell Xaviers when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount b m COGNAC DANCER stated that he was instructed to ride his mount at the head of the field from start to finish. When queried as to why he had taken an unduly long lead he had no explanation to offer. Trainer C. Gleich when questioned, corroborated the instructions as mentioned by the Jockey, however expressed his disappointment with his charge being allowed to run so freely in the early and middle stages of the race. The Stipendiary Stewards advised Jockey Russell Xaviers that in future should he ride his mount in a similar manner appropriate action would be taken against him and further ordered him to report to the Jockey Coach Mr. P. Alford for corrective measures.

2 (50) THE MAID OF ATHENS HANDICAP (DIV-II)

Green PastureIn the concluding stages of the race GREEN PASTURE (Vinay Jaiswal) was inconvenienced when SHES LIKE THE WIND (Shezad Khan) shifted inwards under pressure. Jockey Shezad Khan was informed that should he fail to control his mounts in future, he would be dealt with appropriately.The Sr. Vet Officer reported that ch f GREEN PASTURE and b m GENEROSITY returned lame after the race on left fore and right fore respectively. Trainers Bharath Singh and Javed Khan were informed not to accept their charges until certified fit by the Sr. Vet Officer.
SartajJockey Sk Israil, the rider of SARTAJ was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/ for not making adequate efforts to improve his position in the early and middle stages of the race and for the tender handling of his mount passing the 200 mtrs. Trainer Daniel David was advised to ensure that his charges are ridden in such a manner that leaves no room for query.
HyacinthusJockey I Khan, the rider b f HYACINTHUS was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for striking the filly with the whip while returning to the unsaddling enclosure. He was further informed that should he repeat the incident he would be reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
EnzoENZO (Kishen Singh) was fractious in its stall.

Gorgeous GirlJockey C. Alford, the rider of GORGEOUS GIRL reported that his mount was inclined to run “out” throughout the race. Trainer Vijay Singh was advised to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with his charge again.
Rasputin(O)For parading his charge b g RASPUTIN with a Blinker ‘ON’, equipment for which permission had not been accorded, Trainer Sarfaraz Khan was fined a sum of Rs 1000/. The blinkers were taken off before the gelding was allowed to proceed to the Starting gates.

4 (52) THE GUDARZ HANDICAP

Elusive Thoughtch f ELUSIVE THOUGHT was examined on the morning of the race day and found to have a painful cut injury and trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances Trainer Javed Khan was advised to withdraw his charge and not to accept the filly again until passed fit by the Sr. Vet Officer.
Isle Of CapriApprentice Babu Singh the rider of ISLE OF CAPRI reported loss of whip passing the 400 mtr mark.
Impressive QueenIMPRESSIVE QUEEN (Vinay Jaiswal) and REQUITE (Nelson Maseyk) were slow to begin.
Requiteb m REQUITE trailed the field home, was examined by the Vet Officer and it was reported that no ailment was noticed. Under the circumstances Trainer Vikash Jaiswal was informed to keep the mare under observation and not to accept with it again until it was capable of a better performance.

5 (53) THE ALORITZ HANDICAP
