A Handicap for Horses rated 0 TO 26		 1200M
AcceptanceOn arrival at the Gates, ACCEPTANCE was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and found to be sore by the right fore leg, as such the mare was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s order. The mare has to be passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
QuaoarJockey P.Belose (QUAOAR) and Jockey Vikram Walkar (BINEE) have been fined Rs.1000/ each for using their whip in excess of the prescribed limit on their respective mounts.
Lovely FeelingsSoon after the start, LOVELY FEELINGS (T.S.Jodha) shifted in and caused interference to BLACK WARRIOR (I.Shaikh). Jockey T.S.Jodha has been fined Rs.2000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount. Jockey T.S.Jodha (LOVELY FEELINGS) was observed to have used his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. The Jockey stated that he has used the whip as a corrective measure as the mare was inclined to lugout. As such, no action was initiated against the Jockey and Trainer S.S.Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.
Kings PowerTrainer H.J. Antia has been fined Rs.6,000/ (i.e. Rs.3,000/ for each case) for late submission of the Declaration form in respect of his charges EMERGING POWER & MALASI.
MalasiMALASI (Vikram Jodha) was reluctant to be stalled and also jumped out slowly from the Gates, losing about 3 lengths. Trainer HJ Antia has been asked to give the mare more Gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

2 (233) THE NADIA MARY HOMI WADIA TROPHY-DIV.II
TERMS - 3 years old only		 1000M
SupermanSoon after the start SUPERMAN (C.Ruzaan) was tightened for room and lost position.
ShabdeezSHABDEEZ (Bhawar Singh) was observed to be running green and erratic in the race and approaching the 800 meters the filly was steadied and consequently lost her position and again approaching the 400 meters, SHABDEEZ shifted out and possibly clipped the hind heels of RAGS TO RICHES (R.Shelar), stumbled and dislodged its rider.

3 (234) THE BANGALORE TURF CLUB LTD TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE		 1400M
Hugo BossAfter the race HUGO BOSS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of of 4 weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Royal FlashNear 400 meters, ROYAL FLASH (App Kishore Kadam) shifted in and brushed the rails due to HUGO BOSS (T.S. Jodha) shifting in. Since HUGO BOSS broke a blood vessel, no action has been initiated against Jockey T.S.Jodha.

4 (235) THE NADIA MARY HOMI WADIA TROPHY-DIV.I
TERMS - 3 years old only		 1000M
Highland QuestOn a report from the Senior Veterinary Officer, that there was a discrepancy with regard to the identification of HIGHLAND QUEST, a Stewards enquiry was held in this race. After interviewing Trainer S.K. Sunderji and considering all evidence, the Stewards decided to withdraw HIGHLAND QUEST. The Stewards further directed to conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter.
Touch Of LandAt the start, GIANNATASSIO (C.Ruzaan) lugged in and hampered the running of TOUCH OF LAND (B.Prakash).
Quand MemeAfter the race, QUAND MEME was found to have an abrasion on the left hind pastern.
Fame N FortuneFAME N FORTUNE ((T.S.Jodha), QUAND MEME (S.N.Chavan) and TOUCH OF LAND (B.Prakash) were inclined to lug out in the straight. Trainers Karthik G and Narendra Lagad were asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

5 (236) THE JAYARAMDAS PATEL GOLD TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 2000M
Fantasy LakeNear 950 meters, FANTASY LAKE (M Narredu) was inconvenienced when GOLD BISCUIT (Riyaz Shaikh) shifted in slightly. Jockey Riyaz Shaikh has been cautioned for changing course.
Rage Of AngelsRAGE OF ANGELS (Anil Baandal) and URUJ (T.S.Jodha) jumped out slowly losing about 2 and 5 lengths respectively, at the start. Considering this and a similar behavior of URUJ, Trainer S.S.Shah has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race before to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race.
Gold BiscuitApproaching 600 meters, FANTASY LAKE (M Narredu) was held up for run briefly when GOLD BISCUIT (Riyaz Shaikh) shifted out and at the same time CHARLIE PARKER (Aadesh Kumar) shifted in. Both the Jockeys, Riyaz Shaikh and Aadesh Kumar, have been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over their respective mounts.

6 (237) THE R.J. KOLAH TROPHY
TERMS - 3 years old only		 1400M
FocusAt the start, FOCUS (S.S.Rathore) ducked in suddenly and made contact with APOLLOTINA (C.Ruzaan). Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated against the jockey.Jockey S.S Rathore (FOCUS) has been cautioned for using his whip with his right hand while his mount was inclined to shift out.
Get SmartFIESTY DANCER (P.S.Chouhan) and SIR TAJ (Riyaz Shaikh) jumped out slowly, losing about 3 lengths each at the start. Trainers Ivor Fernandes and Asad Siddiqui have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and to show them to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting.
OptimistOPTIMIST (Zameer Sayeed) jumped out slowly and did not raise an effective gallop. Trainer CD Katrak has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race. On examination after the race, OPTIMIST was found to have wolf tooth on both the sides of its mouth.

7 (238) THE C.N. WADIA GOLD MILLION (GRADE 2)
TERMS - 4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD		 2400M
Spinoza (O)After the race, SPINOZA was observed to be going short by the left fore leg. The gelding has been stopped from racing until passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Magic TouchMAGIC TOUCH (Dashrath Singh) was placed fifth and GAEA (C.Ruzaan) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

8 (239) THE SPANIARDS INN PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66		 1200M
PrecisionAn enquiry has been initiated into the improved performance of PRECISION and APPRECIATE and a report will be submitted shortly.
AlmarinaAfter the race ALMARINA was found to have an abrasion on the left hind pastern.
War Of Attrition(O)WAR OF ATTIRITION was observed to have drifted out under use of the whip thereby losing considerable ground. Trainer Mansoor Shah and App Kishore Kadam were questioned regarding the running and riding of WAR OF ATTRITION. The Apprentice stated that he was instructed to be well up and to keep the whip in the right hand and not in the left hand. The Trainer confirmed the instructions. The Apprentice was asked as to why has he persisted with the use of the whip with his right hand when the horse was drifting out, the Apprentice stated that he was asked to keep the whip in the right hand. On questioning, the Trainer stated that the Apprentice had taken the horse wide and should have used his common sense and not allowed the horse to drift out in the straight. When the Apprentice was confronted with this statement of the Trainer, the Apprentice sated that if he had switched the whip to the left hand and used the whip he could have violated his instructions. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Trainer Mansoor Shah and Apprentice Kishore Kadam, the matter was referred to the Stewards. The matter deferred to the next meeting of the Stewards.
RadiatingSoon after the start, RADIATING (Dashrath Singh) leaned on to MASTER CRAFT (Riyaz Shaikh) on his outside who in turn made contact with TERRE BLANCHE (M Narredu). Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated against anyone.

WafadarSoon after the start, WAFADAR (Riyaz Shaikh) hung in and made contact with GENERALISSIMO (Anil Baandal). Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race.
Schnell(O)Soon after the start, SCHNELL (TS Jodha) shifted in and carried HEIFITZ (C Ruzaan) inwards who in turn shifted in and tightened FLAMES OF FIRE (L Prashant) who was checked and lost his position and in the process hampered the running of CARLOS (Dashrath Singh) who in turn inconvenienced CALL TO ARMS (App DK Ashish) . Jockey TS JODHA has been fined Rs.3000/ for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
The Brave HeartTrainer H.J. Antia has been fined Rs.6,000/ (i.e. Rs.3,000/ for each case) for late submission of the Declaration form in respect of his charges FLAMES OF FIRE and THE BRAVE HEART.
