Parthenon	Jockey Abhishek Habbu, the rider of PARTHENON, when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount stated that the bridle shifted out from its position hence he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage. The Stipendiary Stewards took note of his explanation and advised Tr. R W Alford to take appropriate corrective measures.

Kabini	Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of KABINI, reported that his mount was inclined to hang out passing the 400 metres marker and during the concluding stages of the race. Tr. Bharath Singh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
Baby Come Back	BABY COME BACK (App Aqeed Waheed) refused to raise a fluent gallop in the early stages of the race and consequently trailed the field home. Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was advised to ensure that this charge is capable with the field in future.

Adora

IRON LADY (Suraj Narredu) and LUCK LUCK LUCKY (Kishore Kadam) were slow to begin. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of IRON LADY, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ for the excessive use of the whip (1st offence). Tr. Bharath Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge IRON LADY as compared to its previous run in Race No. 193 stated that when he was queried in Race No. 193 regarding its poor performance he was unable to give any plausible explanation. However, it was recorded in the Stipendiary Stewards report of the race that the jockey had stated ‘after being denied a clear run the filly failed to improve in spite of his best efforts’. He was now of the opinion that his charge had performed much better as it was not denied a clear run. The Stipendiary Stewards while noting his explanation informed Tr. Bharath Singh that in future they would be keeping a watchful eye on the running of his charges.

Jamaican

The Veterinary Officer reported that JAMAICAN returned with a cut injury on left hind.

Alienation	ALIENATION (Md Shabbani), CEE FOUR (Md Sameer) and HAYATA (Shezad Khan) were slow to begin. Passing the 400 metres ALIENATION (Md Shabbani) was eased to a halt by its rider. On immediate veterinary examination the horse was found to have sustained fracture on its hind quarter and was euthanised on humanitarian grounds.
Petaloid	PETALOID (App Jorawar Singh) reared up as the start was effected thereby losing some ground at the start.
Hayata	The Veterinary Officer reported that HAYATA returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Bharath Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Passionate	PASSIONATE (Jugnu Gurung) travelling three horses wide off the running rails shifted course ‘inwards’ for no apparent reason approaching the 400 metres. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Jugnu Gurung was shown the CCTV replay of the race and was advised to desist from this undesirable practice.

Hamdani	b f HAMDANI (App Ankit Kumar) was fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate of the filly has been revoked by the Starter.
Spectacular Style	Tr. Vikash Jaiswal when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge SPECTACULAR STYLE as compared to its previous outings in Race Nos. 126, 154, 170 and 197, stated that the stable was pleasantly surprised with the victory as the gelding was not fancied at all and is to be retired from racing as per the rules at the end of the month. Further, except for the favourite ALONDRA which raced poorly and finished 2nd, the other placed horses carried as much form as SPECTACULAR STYLE. The Stipendiary Stewards made note of his explanation.
Blooming Girl	The Veterinary Officer reported that BLOOMING GIRL and SCOOBY DO returned bleeding from their nostrils. Trs. Javed Khan and Bharath Singh were informed not to accept with their respective charges until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Secret Builder	Passing the 300 metres ESSENZA (App Md Azharuddin) and ASTATKI (C Alford) brushed against each other.
Head Hunter	HEAD HUNTER (Md Islam) was fractious in its stall.
Valerosa	Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of VALEROSA, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the initial and middle stages of the race.
Noble Defender	NOBLE DEFENDER (App Md Javed) which began drifting ‘outwards’ passing the 600 metres finished off the race on the outer portion of the race track. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to take corrective measures before accepting with his charge again.

Artesia	ARTESIA (C Alford) was fractious while being stalled.
Arabian Warrior	Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ARABIAN WARRIOR, reported that his mount was not striding fluently for a major portion of the race. On immediate veterinary examination no ailment was noticed by the Veterinary Officer. Tr. Manvendra Singh deputizing for Tr. J S Dhariwal was advised to keep the colt under observation and report ailment, if any.

Star Symphony

STAR SYMPHONY (Suraj Narredu) was inconvenienced soon after the start when RISING POWER (Shezad Khan) shifted ‘inwards’. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Shezad Khan was shown the CCTV replay of the race and cautioned for shifting course when not clear of the other runners.
