ArikattuTrainer K. S. Mandanna was called and questioned regarding his charge ARIKATTU (R Manish)winner.The Trainer stated the horse had lot of problems and was suffering from laminitis during the last Madras Racing Season 20232024,due to which he did not race the gelding. He started racing him during the current Udhagamandalam Racing Season 2024.His Last run was in Race No 28 where he ran a forward race .He took a chance in this race. Explanation tendered by the Trainer was noted.
Eclipse AwardAt the start ,REGENT PRINCE (Kuldeep Singh drawn 2 ) jumped outwards left,at the same time ECLIPSE AWARD (Koshi Kumar drawn 4) jumped on his inside causing severe interference to ANNALISA (C Umesh drawn 3) who was squeezed in between them.Jockey Kuldeep Singh and Apprentice Jockey Koshi Kumar,were fined Rs 5000/ each for not exercising proper control over their mounts at the start.
AnnalisaAt the start ,REGENT PRINCE (Kuldeep Singh drawn 2 ) jumped outwards left,at the same time ECLIPSE AWARD (Koshi Kumar drawn 4) jumped on his inside causing severe interference to ANNALISA (C Umesh drawn 3) who was squeezed in between them.Jockey Kuldeep Singh and Apprentice Jockey Koshi Kumar,were fined Rs 5000/ each for not exercising proper control over their mounts at the start. The Club`s Veterinary Officer reported after the race, ANNALISA (C Umesh) was found to be trotting lame on Left fore due to sprained fetlock post veterinary examination on 12/05/2024.

Samurai BlueSAMURAI BLUE (Soufyane J Moulin) lost about 2 lengths at the start. Trainer James Mckeown was called and questioned regarding the running of his charge SAMURAI BLUE (Soufyane J Moulin).The Trainer stated that horse didnt have a level start and he stayed inside the stall and, he is a difficult horse to ride.He also informed that the gelding has a habit of going out around the bend so the Jockey had to make him stay in between horses.He felt all his chances were lost at the start itself. He opined as far as he is concerned the Jockey rode a good race knowing the difficulties of this horse.The explanation tendered by the Trainer was noted. Jockey S.A.Amit, the rider of SINATRA reported ,passing the 600 meter marker SAMURAI BLUE (Soufyane J Moulin) was momentarily held up for room..
Relic WarriorJockey P.Sai Kumar, the rider of RELIC WARRIOR reported,around the bend,his horse slipped twice from the hind.

Royal MayfairJockey Sah Farid Ansari, the rider of ROYAL MAYFAIR was called and questioned.He informed his instructions were to sit in forward position and do his best in the straight.After viewing the race he was asked what was his efforts on his mount to improve,the Jockey did not have an answer.He was asked to be more cautious and to give his best in his future rides.

The StingThe blinker on `THE STING` (M.S.Deora) was found damaged and there was no spare one to be replaced at the Starting gate, hence the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the starter`s orders.Trainer G. S. Parmar was fined Rs 15,000/ for unserviceable condition of the blinker.
King O StarThe Club`s Veterinary Officer was asked to examine KING O STAR (Kuldeep Singh). The Club`s Veterinary Officer reported after the race that no abnormalities were found on KING O STAR (Kuldeep Singh).
Kings ReturnSUMMER SONG (Dharshan Antony drawn 6) jumped out and went across KINGS RETURN (C A Brisson drawn5) who got severely hampered Jockey Dharshan Antony, was fined Rs 3000/ for not making sufficient efforts at the start.
Grey BeautyJockey Soufyane J Moulin, the rider of GREY BEAUTY was fined Rs 2000/ for not making sufficient efforts to keep his horse straight soon after the start.
Summer SongSUMMER SONG (Dharshan Antony drawn 6) jumped out and went across KINGS RETURN (C A Brisson drawn5) who got severely hampered Jockey Dharshan Antony, was fined Rs 3000/ for not making sufficient efforts at the start.
