Silk StuffJockey Bharat Mal, the rider of HELEN OF TROY was fined Rs 2000/ for jumping on to LUMIERE (A S .Peter) which in turn went on to SILK STUFF (Ram Nandan Manjhi) that had to be checked. Apprentice Jockey Ram Nandan Manjhi, the rider of SILK STUFF was suspended for 2 race days ie 18th and 26th October 2024 for exceeding the excessive use of whip (4th Offence).
Val D'aranJockey Soufyane J Moulin, the rider of VAL D`ARAN was questioned regarding his riding. The Club`s Veterinary Officer reported after the race that no abnormalities were found in FACE OFF (L.Alex Rozario) VAL D`ARAN (Soufyane J Moulin) and HELEN OF TROY (Bharat Mal). After the race, Jockey Soufyane J Moulin, the rider of VAL D`ARAN was called and questioned into the riding of Ch.f.3 year old VAL D`ARAN trained by James Mckeown. Jockey Soufyane J Moulin, was shown the recording of the race. Jockey stated that his instructions were to go in front since he was (drawn 12) he had to travel wide to go to the front, he also stated the filly did not have the power to travel wide and hit the front..He explained that he found himself in a pocket back than an ideal he thought to be. He added that going was not in favor and didn`t suit his filly and said that he had done his best. The explanation of Jockey Soufyane J Moulin was noted. On being questioned, Trainer James Mckeown was asked about his observation of the race, he pointed out his Ch.f.3 year old VAL D`ARAN was drawn wide, the Jockey had to travel wide to go to the front ,he informed his filly did not have the speed to go to the front and the going was not in her favour. He also explained though she cleared her maiden in Udhagamandalam 2024 meeting and was running in an open class in this race(ie race no 43).he said her previous outing was during Mysore summer meeting ,2024 where she finished third in a three horse field. Trainer James Mckeown explanation was noted.

Cape WickhamAt the start GOLDEN WARRIOR (Yash Narredu) went on to CAPE WICKHAM (Soufyane J Moulin) and had to be checked. SONIC DASH (P.Sai Kumar) had to be momentarily checked due to the shifting of CAPE WICKHAM (Soufyane J Moulin) on whom KINGS WALK (Koshi Kumar) came in.
Golden WarriorAt the start GOLDEN WARRIOR (Yash Narredu) went on to CAPE WICKHAM (Soufyane J Moulin) and had to be checked.
Kings WalkSONIC DASH (P.Sai Kumar) had to be momentarily checked due to the shifting of CAPE WICKHAM (Soufyane J Moulin) on whom KINGS WALK (Koshi Kumar) came in. KINGS WALK (Koshi Kumar) was found to be `hanging in` in the last 300 metres. The Club`s Veterinary officer reported after the race that no abnormalities were found in KINGS WALK (Koshi Kumar).
Dark SonThe Club`s Veterinary Officer reported after the race that DARK SON (Inayat) was suffering from sore back. Trainer J.Sebastian was asked to get his charge certified fit by the Club`s Veterinary Officer before next accepting with.
